It's fine.  I don't want you to go through all of the extra trouble of having this made just for me (so far).  I'm fine with remaking them, I just wanted to avoid the announcement about 2-3 year old rewards being reset.  We'll just keep iAwards until we set up and finish adding all the new awards with your app and then pull a little switcharoo.  😋

    @InvisionHQ  Two questions.
Is there a way for someone to create an advert and leave it up indefinitely/forever, generating multiple sales on the same advert without ever expiring or being marked sold?
Is there a way for people to include optional add-ons customers can select when buying an advert if the seller wants to offer premium services for an additional charge?
    Thank you!

I understand your perspective, but I disagree with part of it.  I don't look at downvoting as an "attack", and that comparison is sorta the mentality that can make it become toxic.  Like numerous other users in the past have said when this topic gets brought up, there's no point in advertising having a reputation system if your reputation can only be positive in my opinion.  It's like video games that pretend to give you freedom of choice, but in the end you're always locked into playing the role of the do-gooder hero.
Our website utilizes both positive and negative reactions, and in doing so it has helped trim out toxic and malicious users, or forces them to change their ways, without the community feeling like big brother(staff) is always watching or trying to get involved when technically no rule violation has occurred.  A reputation system like Reddit's would be the dream.  😋

The word "harassed" is... a choice.
I don't find it unreasonable to ask him a question about his themes, or coming here asking people for advice as to what I can do. One reply in the span of two months doesn't feel unreasonable either. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Especially considering we worked together frequently.

From where I stand that's a pretty rigid stance, but I respect your decision.

The overall tone in your comment feels pretty stern. I hear what you're saying, but delivery is everything. Nonetheless, thank you for responding.

Reddit works on a karma system and allows users to upvote and downvote all content, which gives or subtracts karma and allows users to have good or bad reputations.  Users with bad reputations are then given posting restrictions and are susceptible to having their content automatically removed.

Reddit is a perfect example of what he's asking for, actually.

@Haku2 You have made your feedback on the changes very clear - over and over and over in multiple topics. You've frankly left the constructive feedback/criticism category and are approaching the noise station. I am personally, and we as a company, are aware of your concerns and feedback. We have heard you, even if there aren't immediate actions available and now, it's time to let it go and move on.

@craigf136 Thank you for the feedback on this. It's a valid concern and one I'll take note of internally to ensure it's addressed soon.

First, for everyone who has not done that yet: don't install the new 1.0.13 update and wait for 1.0.13.1.
@JoshTX I have just sent you a PM.
@Morrigan @Taylor M. Sorry for that; 1.0.13.1 has just been submitted with a fix for that and it is waiting for approval. The problem is this may take a few days, and 4.5 will not let you install a new version manually so you will just need to wait.
@ibinod Thanks for your purchase; I am afraid the best what you can do for now is to disable the app and wait until 1.0.13.1 is available.
@flashpoint I am sorry, but I am not able to help you with that. You will need to submit a support ticket to IPS.

I will keep you all updated; once again, sorry for the whole inconvenience. I know it is a pain for you and your communities.

WOW. You don't think you're being just a tad bit over sensitive? Someone said something slightly negative about IPB
If anything it was just poor wording. That happens when folks are frustrated. Seeing as I am frequently struggling with cache that won't rebuild, it seems like an opportunity for something within the IPB framework that possibly, just maybe could be improved. (sorry)

Yeah the subscription system is broken on our site after upgrading to 4.5.  It shows that all people with expired and cancelled subscriptions as "active" and will not let them buy or renew the same one or any of the others.  Lots of member complaints.
I'm to the point that I want to switch back to using a commerce product with renewals because this has never worked properly for us.  The only way to "fix" this is to delete every recorded instance of them ever owning a subscription in all customer tabs (active, expired, cancelled) and then starting over again which we do **not** want to do because it deletes important purchase history.

I had an inactive license for over a year because there was nothing significant enough to warrant the extra $190 we would have spent.
I was able to purchase and download files from the marketplace the entire time right up until 4.5 Beta 1 came out. All of a sudden I was locked out of things I had just paid for or renewed. I sent in a ticket and was told that this was always the intended behavior and that if I had access to purchase, renew, and download files before with an inactive license, it was in error.
So.. which one is the truth?

No, it's not the same.  You ignore someone "in real life" and they know you're ignoring them because.. well.. you're ignoring them.
The ignore feature on Invision does not have the same effect.  It feels more of a consequence for the person doing the ignoring when it should be the other way around.  It has zero benefit to those who want to truly ignore someone and never have to deal with them again, and it's why my community just stopped wasting their time trying to use it.
Those who didn't want to be associated with certain people and had no option to prevent them from constantly being in their online business have decreased their activity on the site because, like a broken record, the ignore feature bares no consequence on the user who is exhibiting behavior another member disagrees with when it should in some capacity.  They should be aware that they can no longer associate with a user when they attempt to access anything associated to that user, and maybe reflect on why it happened in the meantime.
We can have these improvements on the same ignore system in place without having to argue semantics on what to actually call it or compare it to.  There's no way that truncating a few posts behind a basic warning is the best Invision can do to give members more power over their accounts and their experiences.

I think the ignore feature needs a few more features to be useful.  Right now it really serves no purpose other than to make members angry/upset when they try to use it and find out it doesn't really serve a purpose.  Most sites give you the ability to actually block someone, preventing them from seeing your content or your account.  My members have been begging me for improvements to this feature or to implement a true blocking system, but it's odd to me that previous people who have requested this are never responded to, or are basically told just use the ignore feature as is and act like an adult about it.
The internet if filled with millions of people of all ages, and just because someone is an adult doesn't mean they'll act like one.  I don't think it's unreasonable to provide a little more in terms of someone feeling more secure about their privacy.
User A ignores User B, so all applicable content by User B is now hidden to User A, and User B is unable to send private messages to User A.  However, User B doesn't know they are being ignored by User A and has no restrictions given to them.  The ignore system works basically as if User A is the one being blocked from User B's content which seems backwards.  User B should be aware they are blocked and have the consequence of User A basically not existing to them in any capacity.
My members are requesting these common blocking features:
A blocked/ignored user cannot see the content of the blocker. A blocked/ignored user cannot view the account profile of the blocker. A blocked/ignored user cannot tag/mention the blocker in any content. If there is a plugin or app that already implements these improvements, please direct me to it.  If not, I can assure anyone who creates one will receive immediate downloads/sales.

This argument makes no sense to me, because in my short time on IPB, I've been burned and scammed by purchasing numerous plugins and apps from devs that have disappeared or would submit something to get as many sales with the promise of future updates and support, only to remove their item once people start requesting the services promised.  Literally spent nearly $100 for a single app for it to be removed less than a week later and denied a refund by the dev.
So, basically nothing is changing except that I can choose to pay a now extra $190 each year to deal with this and keep my 3rd party apps updated, or I can just.. not.
You can pretend that they're making the marketplace better for everyone, but in the end they're just punishing the ones who weren't doing anything wrong in the first place.  They think they can somehow keep people from finding ways to get the content on this site without having a license when they can't.  There are currently 3 websites at the top of google that always have the latest marketplace items and update their content almost as quickly as it gets uploaded here.

It's okay.  I've already noticed developers are spending more effort on their own development websites where the files can be obtained without the restrictions.  Some are happy to transfer your purchase so you only have to pay for renewals on their site.  Just need to ask nicely.  In the end, I'm not going to be the one hurting and those developers won't be losing 10% profit.
