Does anyone have a good idea why when navigating to a thread one particular way (for example, clicking the most recent thread in a forum via the forum homepage) or navigating a different way (e.g. clicking forum -> subforum -> thread from front page of thread links in subforum) would produce different SSL responses? The former is not SSL while the latter is and I can't articulate why.

When we change the HTPP settings as shown in this guide, we run into redirect issues that cause the site to be inaccessible. Any idea what might be causing our errors?

Hello all - I wanted to bring up an old topic in the hopes you all could help me again. We've been able to determine that it is, indeed, related to javascript. Users are mentioning again that there are problems. @Jim M- in an earlier reply you mentioned HTTP vs HTTPS. We just updated our SSL on our site right around the time folks started mentioning these problems again. Could that be causing some javascript issues and, if so, do you have a suggested solution? Thanks so much for any wisdom.

Sorry for the delay, all - thought I turned on notifications for this thread, turns out I didn't. Super smart idea to impersonate the user - I did that and didn't notice any of the errors he was saying he was finding, so I am surmising that this is indeed on his end. He is the only user posting this, so I'll work with him on javascript. He said he cleared the cache, but I can walk him through that to ensure he actually did.

That was incredibly helpful - thank you. I found php.ini and was able to get it to higher, but that still hasn't solved the issue. Is there a listing of IPS proficient web developers anywhere? I'd be happy to pay for someone's time.

@CoffeeCake you clearly know your stuff, so final question: I did some Googling on where to find my php.ini file, but I'm not seeing it. Am I wrong that it should be in the public_html folder? I have phpinfo.php, not sure if that is the same thing.

@CoffeeCakeWould it make sense that after upgrading RAM this error still shows? Do I need to do anything to "reset" the system?

Hi all: I run www.hoosiersportsnation.com. We experienced a traffic surge this morning and our site isn't loading properly. At first I thought it was a hosting issue - our disk usage was really high on our VPS. I both upgraded our VPS and deleted some old backups to free up space but, alas, no fix yet. Bluehost is telling me it's a coding/software problem, something relating to PHP. Is anyone able to help me diagnose this?
