Most ad partners will just approve your domains across the board (unless one is against TOS). I haven't run into any issues with ad partners approving domains and I've been doing this for a long time.
For the most part, you will use key-values to target specific forums/pages on your site. This is usually associated with Direct Sales. eg. someone wants to target your ABC, MNO, and XYZ forums on your site. Key-values allows you to do just that.
    Placements are not required.

    I'm sorry. I missed this.
    You can target via key-values.
    eg. url = domain.com
    eg. url = /this-is-a-specific-page/
eg. page = "This is a specific page title"
    Yes, I use sizeMapping.

    @AlexWebsites
In the beginning, it was best to keep them separate but we no longer have to do that. The tools available to us today helps us to keep things simple.
We just have 1 set of ad units for all sites.
Today, it's simple to do reports based URLs (sites), key-values (ie. URLs, Page, Usergroup...), etc.
    TIPS:
If you have AdX and Adsense, make sure AdX is set to "Default for Dynamic Allocation" (Admin > Linked Accounts)
(Just make sure because some accounts that had Adsense approved before AdX may have Adsense set to Dynamic Allocation. If this happens to you, you could be losing a lot of money.)
A key-value can be a url, usergroup, page, etc. It can be anything that you want to target. For example, you want to target a specific usergroup with a campaign. Or, maybe you want to target a group of members based on a custom Profile Fields. (This is very handy when a specific customer wants to target a specific group of people on your site.)
Keep your naming convention simple for ad units, rules, etc.
For ad units, I use the standards when naming my units:
ros_leaderboard ros_medrec ros_largerec ros_skyscraper ros_halfpage ros_banner ros_mobile ros_sticky etc If you require 2 leaderboard ad units on the page, I recommend being specific on the 2nd. For example, name it post_leaderboard ... for another medrec found below the fold, name it bot_medrec, etc.
You can use the same naming convention for Price Rules.
Naming is very important. You look at the name and it tells you everything you need to know.
(Keep in mind that your site design may change frequently but you shouldn't do the same with ad units.)
Create Price Rules per ad units. Learn everything you can about price rules.
Use Header Bidding and Adsense (alongside your Ad Manager setup) to put pressure on the auction

Totally agree! We have advertisers which they do not want a nofollow link and there's not an easy way to change that, especially for not admin users.

Same here. We have advertisers that pay only for follow links.

I think it's a good idea to be more specific, and certainly adding "sponsored" is very important to be able to do, so that google knows a link is sponsored. Now it can be "sponsored" without "nofollow" and still be fine with google.
For all my forum links and comment links I decided this was best because it is more specific: "external ugc nofollow."
Google indicates on that page that forums, for example, can use "ugc" to indicate that it is user generated, which is different than just nofollow, which doesn't tell you anything (it could be nofollow because it is sponsored, so now google cannot tell whether it is sponsored or flagged nofollow because it is UGC).
Interestingly google also says that for "trusted" users, for example old forum members who regularly post good links it is ok to remove the "nofollow" on them. So there really should be a setting where you can set the default for all users, but then go in and change them for selected users, or perhaps even make it tied to advancing to a certain group, for example those who have over 100 posts will have the "nofollow" removed.
Just some ideas, but what is clear is that google cannot now tell whether a link is nofollow because it is sponsored, or just UGC, and it is important to tell google this. By adding the UGC tag I've done that.

    Hi,
you use normal version of google analytics. Could you please add new option GTM? This will be better solution than standard GA.

I agree, the NOFOLLOW on everything will still work but it doesn't help Google better understand and process links on my site as well as sites pointing to my site. Eventually, Google will make the proposed changes a requirement or drop it altogether.
    Google makes changes gradually.
Plus, it doesn't hurt to give admins some control over this. Currently, it's either NOFOLLOW or nothing. (Just make the current option a dropdown.)
    Let us decide.

In new version, you may want to consider adding the new NOFOLLOW options.
Leave it up to the admins to decide how to use NOFOLLOW.

What would you hope to achieve through this change? Google (currently at least) treats sponsored/ugc the same as specifying nofollow from an SEO standpoint.

It's actually possible but you will have to edit your postContainer template.

There are no special "fields" for members to fill out after joining a group. They just have the option to join group.

The same options are found in Registration as well.
There is no "confirmation process". The goal here is to make it as easy as possible for members to take action.
When a member joins a Public Group(s) we can use this information to onboard the members.
For example, we can use Bulk Mail or Announcements to target specific groups. With this information we can easily onboard the members to take whatever action that you want them to take. ie. fill out a form

Can I achieve below with the app?
    1. A request form to join to others groups.
This form will appear as the Completetion of My Profile, the member (after registration is placed automatically in group Member) have to fill it to start the request for others groups permission.
    2. The moderator received the request notification then verify the form filled if data are trust, if yes moderator take a click action then the member is automatically added to the group. In this process the moderator don't have to go to ACP for any setting.
    3. The form will contains subforms of all groups. Example, group A, B, C. If the member choose "I want to join to the group A", then appear the form with requirements have to filled.
This process guarantees that the right person join to the right group. Scene of use: My community members are students of 3 schools, right now all are the Group member. I need place them in others groups with their school name and specifically permission. I think this is an automated mechanism, member start request, moderator verify and approve.
Ah, there need ability of update action for all forms or fields filled, because students can change school and scale grade for next year.

I just wanted to give a general update about what's coming next (in the next week or so - possibly on the same day or at the same time).
There's going to be a new version for IPS 4.1.19.4 that includes SendGrid support (I'm testing the implementation at the moment). There's going to be a follow up release that purely addresses 4.2 compatibility (including SendGrid support). Both of these versions will also include some other changes, such as being able to tell you if there is an issue connecting to the remote APIs. Compatibility with FCGI/Nginx environments where the Authorization header isn't passed to PHP is improved.
The current version of Mail Bouncer will not work with Bulk Mail on the 4.2 Betas.
