Hi @Adriano Faria! This awesome plugin does not work with PHP 8 or PHP 8.1. Is it possible you could please kindly update?

I posted this in another thread, but I feel it warrants it's own thread for visibility.
With 4.5, there is no longer support for all of the caching mechanisms aside from redis. In my experience, hosts don't know how to install or config redis. Not just how to do it properly, but not at all. They have experience with solutions like memcache and how to get it to play well with cPanel, but not redis.
Is it possible for the Invision team to please create a tutorial on the best way to install and configure the latest version of redis specifically for the Invision Suite with PHP 7.3/7.4?
And if possible to get it working with cPanel? I've read it is possible with EasyApache 4, but no comprehensive, up-to-date guide. I think the Invision team creating this would take care of some hardships we have as we would either be able to follow ourselves or give our hosts documentation for them to follow and get our Invision Suite working efficiently with redis.

AA15 reacted to Morrigan in How to hide unused widgets in block manager?
You have to enspect and use the custom.css but you would do something like this:
[data-blockid="app_core_newsletter"] { display: none; } Note that this SHOULD only affect it in the sidebar block manager but I haven't tested it. You have to get the IDs yourself and do this manually though.

Just don’t use them. Leave them there. Remove permission from moderators ans life goes on.
You’re requesting something that doesn’t exists and can be easily avoided by just not using it!

Ah I understand now, thanks for your clarification.  @Adriano Faria is correct, you cannot hide these since this is a system default.
You probably won't use the Block Manager very often, once you get your community configured.

It works the same for every content type. There is nothing special about gallery blocks. But I added one more block at the end here: https://www.opentype.space/superblocks/

AA15 reacted to AlexWright in [Gallery] Uploads need a Modal Closure Confirmation
This is a frustration that has irked us since 4.0. The gallery uploader for images needs to have a confirmation dialogue before it can be closed. Along the lines of 'Are you sure you want to close the uploader? All progress will be lost." It is annoying to accidentally hit escape or click outside of the box and have it close.

I also agree with this, please bring back manual downloading. The marketplace download functionality is great for the ease of basic users and looks nice, but for others, I feel having a manual download option is a need.

As recommended, I'm creating this topic to reinstate the option to download files manually from the Marketplace.
It's bad enough you don't allow the download of apps we purchased when our licence has expired. But, to completely change the way file downloads are handle is a little much.

Please don't get me wrong, I love the idea that we can now do it all with ACP, but you shouldn't disable/change the way that a lot of us download files for localhost setups to test our sites before going live.

Please, please, please allow the option to download files manually like we've done for so many years!

It’s a IPS thing, sorry. You should report the error or submit a ticket. That’s the only way now via marketplace on ACP.

No, not yet. I'll try to make the sorting thing today then I'll upload but I must say that the review process is taking over a week so don't expect it so quickly. New version will be 4.5 compatible only.
