    I've used Cloudflare for years with IPS. Love it. However, I can't imagine using it for anything SPAM related. The built-in IPS tools, with some wise user/group setup, are almost perfect.
    I used to get thousands of SPAM per day. Now I know get about ten and they all come via the Contact Us form. If I could block all URLs in this form, life would be good.

    I just don’t see myself looking at the providers page, then going to their individual pages, then looking at apps. Most of the apps I use were found by browsing here, not even searching.

    I’m guessing I’ll gradually use the stock, less good, version of Invision Community. Kind of a bummer.

    Please keep in mind that many of us use advertisements as our main source of funding to keep our sites going. I don’t see much room for ads in any v5 snippets.

    +1
    Many layers are the best. Relying on a single thing like 2FA or one less thing (without moving AdminCP) isn't good.
    I also use Cloudflare to lockdown my AdminCP to my IP address.

    For anyone else that runs into this, I dropped this at the bottom of my custom.css to force a style on links in comments/posts. Currently, when they edit the format IPB uses <span> to do inline styling. This should override it. Not responsible for any issues this causes:

    .cPost .ipsComment_content .ipsType_richText a span { color:yourcolorhere !important; } .cPost .ipsComment_content .ipsType_richText a { text-decoration:underline !important; }

    Ok. It would be nice to discuss in another topic. One sub-topic is how some of us currently make manual adjustments so our ads aren’t blocked by the popular ad blockers. It’d be great to eliminate this need.

    Same thoughts. Looks great! Ads are a priority for me as well. I would love to see new and creative ways to monetize in v5. I don’t run any sites without monetization/ income, otherwise I would shut them all down.

    Given that FTP/SFTP access to IPS Cloud isn't allowed, it would be nice if the media uploader accepted more file types. Not all files are for playback or viewing directly inside a browser. I want to offer my readers a FLAC file to download within an article, but can't upload it via the media uploader. Because I'm still self hosted I will SFTP it to the server, but it would be nice to have this capability for when I eventually move to the cloud.

    Accepted file types js, css, txt, ico, gif, jpg, jpe, jpeg, png, mp4, 3gp, mov, ogg, ogv, mp3, mpg, mpeg, ico, flv, webm, wmv, avi, m4v, webp, m4a, wav, pdf, svg

    So as some of you have upgraded to the latest version of IPS v4.7.14 with Marketplace removed, what is your workflow for the upgrade now that the upgrade itself no longer verifies third party apps/plugins are approved for the target IPS version by the developer?
    Running a TESTINSTALL website and upgrading everything then manually spot checking everything before upgrading any official sites (good practice BTW) Going to N developer sites and verifying each of your apps/plugins is marked as compatible, noting some just say 4.7+? It was certainly always helpful to get a comprehensive preview of what was identified as version approved by devs during an upgrade.  Not sure how this exactly worked, but that part is missing now.
