  1. Yes, it's possible and quite easy. Go to Forums in your AdminCP and edit the forum you want to replace the icon for. At the bottom of the page you'll see "Icon", where you can upload a custom image to replace the icon. Take a look at the images in this help guide:

I have a few ideas for this feature, and I'll look closer into them this weekend!
  3. Runar

    Mark Topic

I know what you mean, and I've actually been thinking about adding a similar feature as I need something like this for my own community. I just need to figure out the best way to, as in your example with listing something for sale, unmark the topic as for sale and "remark" it as sold. Any suggestions?
  4. I assume you figured out that individual ads can be configured to only be shown for some groups, but for the future it would be very helpful to post the actual solution, not only that the issue was solved.
  5. Can you post a screenshot of what it looks like to you? Please post it and any further details in the support topic:
  6. As @Marc Stridgen said, there are several plugins and applications available that provide this functionality. Here are two of them:
  7. This help guide explains how you can change the default language from English: In short: Navigate to Customization -> Languages in the AdminCP, and click the Edit icon next to the language you want to set. In the popup window that appear, check the Default Language option, and save the form. Edit: You'll have to install the Romanian language pack first. Please read this guide for help with installation.
  8. Thank you for asking! These are the ones I've found the last weeks: https://invisioncommunity.com/developers/docs/general/autoloading-classes-r6/ General issue: Something is wrong with the text styling on this page. https://invisioncommunity.com/developers/docs/general/caching-r8/ General issue: The section "The caching layer" references several old and no longer supported caching methods, such as ACP and Xcache. https://invisioncommunity.com/developers/docs/development/plugins/complete-example-of-a-plugin-in-ips-community-suite-r50/ The section "Step 5: Making Database Changes" makes several references to altering the core_members table. There is a warning at the top of the section, but the examples and text further down need to be updated. https://invisioncommunity.com/developers/docs/development/applications/versions-and-upgrading-your-application-r51/ References adding a column to the core_groups table. https://invisioncommunity.com/developers/docs/development/extensions/coregroupform-r140/ References adding a column to the core_groups table.
  9. I also wish for this. It applies to the developer documentation as well, where some articles tell you to do things in ways that will make absolutely sure your resource doesn't get approved to the Marketplace. It's frustrating to the point where I'd rather read the source code directly than try to make sense of the documentation, which in my humble opinion is not a good sign. I understand and respect that keeping help guides and developer documentation up-to-date is a time-consuming task, but outdated and sometimes wrong documentation is worse than no documentation.
  10. No, there is no foolproof solution that will work on every device. It will disable copy and paste for some, while others will be able to easily bypass it. What exactly do you mean by "copying a genuine contact"?
  11. Disabling copy and paste is not supported out of the box, and I strongly advice you against doing it by other means. It’s very hostile against your members, and easy to work around. In most cases, all they have to do is disable JavaScript and they can copy and paste as much as they want. If someone wants to copy or paste, they will find a way, no matter how hard you’ve made it for them. But since you asked, there are some solutions here, but note that they may break other functionality in your community. Why do you want to disable it? If you tell us why, maybe we can find other solutions.
  12. Could this be cron jobs? As far as I can remember, they are set up to run at least once every minute, and I'm sure there are scenarios where they could hang or in shorter periods use more CPU than normal.
  13. If I understand you correctly, the issue is that you're not able to find a free theme you like? There are a total of 13 free themes, three of which are light themes and the remaining ten are dark themes. If you don't like any of these, then you'll either have to make your own theme (or edit the default theme) or purchase one of the paid themes.
  14. Paste the relevant lines into a text editor such as Notepad (Windows) or Text Editor (macOS), and do a copy and replace for the URL of your community, replacing the URL with something else.
  15. Which version are you on, and are you not able to update to the most recent one?
  16. Are you sure that your community and the theme you're looking for are compatible? It may be that the theme is outdated/not updated for the version you're running, or vice versa. Make sure you're on the latest version of Invision Community, and all available themes will appear in the Marketplace.
  17. What's new in version 1.1.0 Version 1.1.0 is now available in the Marketplace! New in this version is support for 4.6, and a small update to the language strings. Improvements Update language string to match the latest from Invision Community.
  18. What’s new in version 1.1.0 Version 1.1.0 is now available in the Marketplace. The main change is support for 4.6. Apart from this, the only other change is that the code is cleaner, making the plugin easier to maintain. Improvements Improved code readability and ease of maintenance.
  19. What's new in version 1.1.0 Version 1.1.0 is now available in the Marketplace. The main changes are support for 4.6, and a cool little feature that dynamically updates the colors of the preview icons in the plugin settings when the colors are changed. New features Added tiny script to settings page, to dynamically update the icon colors when the colors change.
  20. Thank you! Those are completely different hooks than in my application, so it shouldn't be an issue. My client reported the issues using the previous version of your application, when it was still a plugin. Were the hooks different then? My client has updated to the latest version now, so we'll wait and see if the issues persist.
  21. A client of mine reported what seems to be a compatibility issue between this plugin/application and one of my own applications. He reports that when both applications are enabled, notifications of moderator actions are no longer being sent. My application is awaiting Marketplace approval, but my client has been using it for some time now without other issues. Would you be able to send me a list of hooks your application uses, so I can compare them against mine?
  22. That’s not a silly question at all! The URL to the login form is <your community>/login. 😁
  23. What exactly happens when you click the “Sign in with Twitter” button? And, do you see any relevant entries in the System and Error logs in your AdminCP? The logs can be found on the Support page.
  24. This is the support topic for the plugin Login Page Message.
