Wow. Welp, there goes a community of 15,000 people you greedy, money vampires just sank with your leaching [REDACTED].

You just increased my bill to %250 of what it previously was.

And you [REDACTED] DARE to say "We recognize your loyalty". No. You ABSOLUTELY do NOT.
The ONLY thing you recognize is your own profit margin.

    You people are [REDACTED] evil.

And the rest of you vets should be ashamed of your upper management, for trying to feed your customers to your shareholders. Start looking at your top 3 for replacement, because those life svcking, money leaches are out of touch with the people their paycheck is coming from (your user base), and they're off living in some fantasy land made of graphs by other leaches who want a fat cut in the short term, while they burn you in the long run, because THEY know EXACTLY what I'm talking about right now.

You need to upgrade to Invision Community Classic in order to see the beta download if your not on Invision Community Classic already.

    2 things I recommend trying:
Running the requirements checker that Randy mentioned above (https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/7046-invision-community-requirements-checker/) Disabling all third-party applications and plugins. If you're still having issues, there should be an error message presented from our software when attempting to access the ACP. If you're receiving just a blank page, you would need to consult your server error log.

    You can already.
Under "Content Type", click "Topics".   Once you do, a "Forums" dropdown will appear below that will let you pick the specific forums you want to search.

It would be tricky as RSS doesn't really have a provision for nested items. It would need to send each comment with a unique URL and ID, which would mean some sort of processing would be needed to nest them on the other side.

    You are awesome. Thanks again!

EDIT: unfortunately that's not quite what I'm looking for.
I basically just want to be able to make regular dropdown menus.
For example, I'd like to put all of the text justifications (left, right, center, fill) into one dropdown to save space.

@Makoto has done it once here https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/7738-editor-message-box/ Unfortunately abandoned.
You can download a copy from this review https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/7738-editor-message-box/?do=findReview&review=12508 to see how it is done.

Some kind of indicator that the session has timed out would be really nice.
Particularly because when you're working in the customize html and css templates, and you let it sit for a while as you look something up and then come back, it's easy to do a bunch of work in there while it's timed out, then click save to save your file and lose everything you just did.

Has anyone been able to successfully create dropdown menus for the CKEditor, using this plugin which is created and up kept by the CKEditor team? (Does that count as 3rd party?) And if so would you be willing to show me / us how it's done?

    WARNING
If you install the plugin provided in that link as is, it will break your editor causing all buttons to disappear. I believe it needs to be configured properly first.
If you do that, you can restore the toolbar to its default state and they will reappear, but any customization you've done to the editor will be gone.
It also has a dependency, which is the menubutton plugin, also created and up kept by the CKEditor team.

There are two ways about it. Disable a session timeout in ACP in constants.php:
// Disable ACP session timeout? 'DEV_DISABLE_ACP_SESSION_TIMEOUT' => FALSE, Or use Designer Mode to edit HTML in IDE for larger, more complex changes.

Yes, with forums generally waning in popularity, this would represent a chance to actually modernize.
