Hello, since my forums have many difficult subjects for which my readers need encouragement, I would like to establish an automated daily (interchanging) popup/display that will show everyday a different message from a selected list of empowering sentences. I would like that to have - a background color (or image, if possible but not necessary) -fonts that can be change in size - a permanent website logo on that popup so that they know this comes from us and is not an advertisment not something more. I would like it to be very clean, neutral, no titles, no lines/other deco, and to dissapear after a single scroll. Example of empowering sentences is Everyday is a new day There always is a rainbow after the rain Take a deep breath and think of something beautiful Did you speak to a friend or relative today? Take time to do so What did you do for yourself today? Look at a flower and feel the beauty of daily change etc and I would try to find at least 100+ of them , upload it once, and have them show each once per day automatically to all members. is there something like that already perhaps? Maybe something like that could be used also for promotional /advertising sales quotes/reminders in other kinds of forums,... ?

ah, i found this topic where its been talked about and apparently there is no interest in making that happen. I cant beleive it because I have so many, and what if I would want to change a lot of things, I would be doomed. mine is 17 years old, and therefore many many topics. many medical subjects that I might want to separate into new categories as they get more and more. I think new owners might not need it that bad, but those with old forums and many posts,... its needed.

Hello! have the same question, I want to create a new forum based on many discussions that I already have scattered, they are many more than 40 -50 topics, so I wish I could move them in a batch. I remember I had this option back way back at vbulletin. Is that feature possible in invision? or also maybe a " move by tags " like, all topics with tag xyz, move to this forum

Hello, I have enabled google signup , created apps, tested it, it works with the test user brilliantly, also an older account I had, with that email, is merged with the google sign in seamlessly. But to publish and verify it, I also need to know if I need to select any of the scopes mentioned. In the google guide of invision its not mentioned. Do I leave it blank? Here are some of the scopes In the url link that appears when trying to sign in, i see that email & profile are mentioned. So I guess those two. Or do we leave all blank /empty , not select anything , and just do save and continue? since on this window, it says I guess I would need to tell them what data (scopes) I will use so I need to know which ones they are. It would be nice if in the guide you have an example of that description, or text. is it just enough to write them "We need to access this data ( which ones exactly, only username email and password ? ) so that our users are able to create an account within our forum/community via the software of InvisionPower which has the feature to use google oauth for an account to be instantly created. For an Account the only thing that is needed is an email an a password. These are the only data we require from google"

ok thank you I have found the problem. Unfortunately the apps i have, are restricted due to a missed deadline i didnt see, or thought would be automatically renewed, its impossible to put them live again. They are in development mode indefinitely. So I probably need to create new apps, (hope this is just possible, since there was no other violation of any kind) since those are not even able to be appealed. Normally you are able to appear to a restriction of an app. But in this case because it was unnoticed , time passed, so, not possible anymore. I have two apps, the one i am trying it with has publish actions aprooved, what other permission might be missing? (it has worked in the past, so this is what is strange)

Hello, there were many changes at the 2 forums I own, (they are online since 2005 , so there is plenty data) I would need a developer who knows the invision software to evaluate the data that is shown in the google search console (errors , changes in good bad links depending on device etc and generally a scan of the data there) and recommend me what I need to do. It was never needed until now but many factors contributing (changes in advertising delivery, changes in redirects, changes from a problem in December) make it impossible for me to know on my own what I need to check or correct, if any. The developer ideally should also know about the different effects of how the serving of advertising (new kind of media, i.e. video etc) affects those results. Based on the consultation I will get I want to be able to make a better decision on what kind of advertising type I should not allow, since the long forum threads may contribute to some of those links being bad or charactrised as slow or CLS , LCP.. it might though not be an issue. I would like to ask someone who knows. I am owner/manager of said websites. thank you so much

! Ah thank you. I thought this worked with simple reporting as is, through the report form, didnt know i had to do it in that order and that there needed to be a specification of the kind of reporting. All good now! Thank you!
