    Adriano,

When the raffle ends and is automatically drawn, it does not post winners to the message board thread as it used to.  It just puts words there:

There are properly listed on the raffle/giveaway page, but not to the thread posted automatically for the raffle/giveaway.

I get this too, is there any fix?

I've upgraded to 4.6.1 and have rebuilt the achievements, largely using the defaults for now.

If I create a new badge, let's say for "1000th Reputation Received", would it automatically award it to anybody who already meets the criteria or would it be necessary to trigger another rebuild?

    Thanks 🙂

It would be automatically rewarded to any member that meets the criteria no need for a re-build.

A re-build would only be necessary if you are changing the amount of points awarded for existing achievements.

  3. Before installing this, may I please ask what method you are using to exclude search engine bots from this?  If it is by IP address, is there a master list of addresses excluded and how is this maintained?

We have over a decades worth of content which is well indexed (and attracts a lot of visitors / sign ups) and wouldn't want to risk that.

    Thanks in advance

  4. @Adriano Faria

Only the IP Gallery which allows some members to create albums for other members.

The issue with the Classifieds is happening at the point of saving the advert or making the offer.  We have deleted the user that everything was being stored against, uninstalled the app, cleared the cache, reinstalled the app and it's still storing things against the deleted members ID.

    Shall I PM you details?

Take a look on your database to see which ID appears in adverts, questions and offers table.

I guessed you might have spotted this during your testing and am sure it's something to do with our environment - just not sure what though?

When myself or the other admin creates an advert or makes an offer, it stores our correct ID in the tables.

When we log on with other accounts, or ask existing members to test, it stores everything they do as member_ID 32767 which doesn't belong to any of the testers.

Not sure I follow... are you saying you create adverts as JOHN DOE and others are viewing this advert as if anyone else submitted it? Same for questions and offers?

If so, no... obviously that's not what's expected and I can't reproduce it:

This app works just like any other: it stores the IDs of members and show them.

    Thanks for the speedy reply.

    What's happening is:

    • When creating adverts or making offers as either of our admin accounts, everything is stored with the correct member_id in the DB
    • When creating adverts or making offers with any other account (not part of the admin group) everything is being stored against 1 member_ID regardless of who is creating the advert or making the offer.  In our case, the member ID everything is being stored against is 32767

    Hope that makes sense?

  7. Hi @Adriano Faria

We've just bought and installed the classified system.  Looks very good but we've encountered a slight problem.

Myself and another admin have been testing adverts, offers and questions between us without any problem.

But when we log in as other users (normal members) or ask normal members to test for us - every advert they create or offer they make is being recorded in the DB against 1 member_id (and the member ID is not one of any of the members involved in testing).

Any ideas what could be causing this? I think we have the permissions and everything set up correctly...

    We are on 4.1.14.3

    Thanks in advance.

Have you tried to clear the cache or even restore the menu and publish it? Seems to be a cache issue.

If you don't know how to do it, PM me with ACP access and I'll take a look.

Many thanks @Adriano Faria - after giving you ACP access everything is working perfectly now and going down well with members.

    Great app and support.

Thanks for the speedy response - I've PM'd you.

  10. Hello @Adriano Faria

This app looks great.  Have just purchased and installed it on my 4.1.12.3 board running PHP  5.6.22

I've added the app as a top level menu item but am getting a 500 error when trying to access it - the URL it's going to is ~/index.php?/links/

Any clues as to what might be wrong?

    Thanks in advance.

You can make a new field and have it be a toggle that will tell if it's sold or not. Then display a badge in the listing if it it.

    Thank you.
