  1. https://www.losdurosdelgenero.com My website uses an IP.Pages database extensively along with record feed blocks and plugins such as SuperGrid, SuperBlocks and SuperShow.
  2. Anyone has any idea about this? Or at least guide me in the right direction. ?
  3. I think I figured this plugin out. It will remove the category name only for subcategories. Root categories will still show up on the URL. I guess I can't use it because I need for ALL categories to be removed from the URL and just display the URL in a format like this: www.mydomain.com/record-title =(
  4. Hello @Mike John, How exactly does this plugin works? I installed it, made sure it was active, went to all my categories and enabled the "Limit URL category?" option, checked "Remove parent categories in url", but my website still points to full URL that include category names. Am I missing something?
  5. I know this might be a stupid question and the option might be right there in my face but I just can't see it. I have a database with multiple categories and the URL for the records will have the categories name in it. I do not want this. How can I have my website display articles from my database as this: www.mywebsite.com/record-title instead of the way it is now, where the URL shows the category name such as this: www.mywebsite.com/category/record-title In other words, I want the URLs to all my records to have only the website and record title. Thanks in advance!
  6. Anyone knows why this could be happening? If you notice, the avatar, author and posted date appear twice in the records view. This is with a fresh install of SuperGrid and I also have a fresh install of SuperShow installed.
  7. @PPlanet @TDBF I can confirm that what triggers the error is the following: Having a database with 2 or more categories AND having the page using the database marked as the default page. If I have the page marked as the default page but with one 1 category, the link will work. If I have the database with 2 or more categories and have a different page marked as default, the link will work. It's the unique combination of having 2 or more categories AND using the database in a page marked as default page for the folder, that throws the error.
  8. @TDBF @PPlanet The problem has to do with pages and databases and this is how I am able to replicate the issue, correct it and replicate it again. Over and over again. At least on my setup. 1. Go to Page Management | Pages and ENABLE the "Make default page for this folder" option for the page that has the database in it. 2. Clear cache via Support. 3. Link to add record via Create Menu Item stops working and throws error posted in OP. 1. Go to Page Management | Pages and ENABLE the "Make default page for this folder" option for ANY other page that does NOT have the database in it. 2. Clear cache via Support 3. Link to add record via Create Menu Item WORKS! I can rinse and repeat the above ad-nauseam and get the same result. As you can see, the issue is when you have a page that has the database in it, set as "Make default page for this folder", that throws the error when trying to create a new record via the top menu's create link.
  9. @PPlanet @TDBF Well, I just tried everything again but this time I did not delete any CMS templates. I'm still getting the same error when trying to create a record via the menu item. *sigh*
  10. I will keep you posted as well, @PPlanet! Hopefully we can get this resolved.
  11. I did but I was told they could not help me with a test site. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a test site. I rather get this sorted out on a test site, instead of a live site which could affect my customers and users. BTW, I was able to replicate the issue on both my live site and test site. It happens as soon as I update to IPS 4.3.3. Actually I did delete custom CMS templates. I guess I will start all over again but this time not delete any CMS templates and see how that goes. Thanks for the suggestion, @TDBF.
  12. I updated my website from IPS 4.1.19.4 to IPS 4.3.3 and now when I try to add a new record to my database by going to the top menu and clicking CREATE | Article in Database, I get the following error: Error: Call to a member function url() on null (0) #0 /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(85): IPS\cms\modules\front\database\_index->form() #1 /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(146): IPS\Dispatcher\_Controller->execute() #2 /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/index.php(13): IPS\_Dispatcher->run() #3 {main} with a back trace error of: #0 /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/init.php(533): IPS\_Log::log('Error: Call to ...', 'uncaught_except...') #1 [internal function]: IPS\IPS::exceptionHandler(Object(Error)) #2 {main} Before doing the update, I went through the painstaking process of deleting ALL custom applications, plugins, themes, etc. I even took the stock, default IPS theme and reverted every customized template back to stock. In essence, I left my website as plain stock as possible. Updated and got this issue. I have been able to replicate it over and over by repeating the whole process more than 5 times. Set the website back to 4.1.19.4, deleting ALL custom applications, plugins, themes, etc, updating and once again, clicking CREATE | Article in Database in the top menu item gives the error posted above. At one point, I deleted the page where the database is being used, which happens to be my homepage, recreated the page, inserted the database and all of a sudden, the menu item was working fine! But a few minutes later, it started happening again. ANY help will be greatly appreciated.
  13. +1 This would be outstanding! In my case, I need it to crop non-square images into square images, specifically when uploading a record image for an article. This way I can ensure that all record images are square and my database display looks uniform. I have authors who sometimes upload images in non-square form and it throws my layout out of whack. I’m willing to pay for such a plugin.
  14. Is there a plugin that will take a non-square, uploaded record image and crop it into a square? In other words, I need the plugin to take the image and crop it's longest side to make it a square before it gets uploaded and saved to the server. If someone wants to develop such a plugin, PM me the price! ?
  15. This ^^^^ I would love to be able to download all records along with databases, templates, custom fields, categories, etc. This would make it so much easier to move them from site to site as well.
  16. After upgrading to 4.3.3, if I click on the + Create button and select "Article in xxxxxx", it will give me an error saying "Something went wrong. Please try again". If I click on status, announcement or topic, it will work without any issues. It is only when I click on "Article in xxxx" that I get the error. Oddly enough, if I click on the "Add new article" button on the homepage, it will work. It is only giving me this error via the "+ Create" button on the top menu. I have already cleared cache and I'm only using the default, stock theme until I can get this fixed. Anyone run into this?
  17. I would also like to know this, as well as being able to hide post views and comments count from custom blocks such as latest topics, etc.
  18. I’m wondering if uploading an attachment in chunks possible with IPS? For instance, break up uploads in say 50MB chunks. Is this something possible via maybe a plugin?
  19. As of late, my server has been crashing and upon checking logs, it seems this is what’s causing the issue: /opt/cpanel/ea-php70/root/usr/bin/php-cgi Since my server runs only IPS software, I was wondering what in IPS would cause these spikes in PHP processes that lead my server to crash.
  20. Halfway through the update process, I got the following (500 Error) Call to undefined method ips\ips::cicTrackingId() I then went to my /upgrade folder so I can restart the upgrade process and on Step 1: Login, I get the following error: Call to undefined method IPS\Member::encryptedPassword() Now I am stuck and don't know what to do. My website is dead in the water. Anyone know what is causing this and how to get passed it?
  21. Thanks! I’ll make sure I do that first.
  22. Guys, I am currently on IPS 4.1.19.4 and preparing to upgrade to IPS 4.3.3 this evening. I have already done the following: 1. Downloaded backup copies of my root folder AND database. 2. Downloaded IPS 4.3.x compatible versions of all my plugins What other housekeeping tasks should I do before starting the update process? Should I reset ALL templates to their stock versions, as well as disabling/uninstalling all plugins beforehand as well? Thanks for any suggestions and tips!
