    sorry for perhaps sounding a bit dull but isn't this function already handled by following topics, etc. ?

    It's a valid question :)

    Sure, you could use the following feature too, but the follow feature links only to a specific topic,blog,etc and not to a comment or even multiple comments in this topic.

  2. It seems that Its unfortunately not explained we'll enough

    trophies are based on th built in criteria / achievements or by rules created by the rules application.

    medals don't have any rules... moderators with proper permissions can go to a members profile and give him a medal.

    admins can also award medals to multiple members via the acp :)

  3. You're right!
    The current system is quite limited.

    I have changed this in 2.2. The next version will introduce "project managers" which will have the power to assign issues to members.

    They'll also be the one which will get notifications once an issues due date was reached and if the bug wasn't fixed / feature wasn't implemented. They'll also have more tabs and features on the overview page

    The recent release was quite of "pushed" by some other members here, I don't disagree that it's kind of half baked and that some features are limited... But we thought that's it better to have a half backed solution which will be improved later, then nothing...

    Trust me, there's a lot yet to be announced coming in 2.2 and it will feel more like a 3.0 then a 2.2. release ;)

  4. @kaos00723 I'm really sorry for the bad experience you had with this application.

    • Can't hide the "Projects" menu from user groups no matter what you do.

    May I ask how you tried to hide it?

    • Only one person can be the Admin which is called the "bot". This is a serious oversight imo.
      Only the single "bot" can assign members to an issue making this very pointless for teams.

    That's not true.
    Everybody with proper permissions can manage projects and items. There's a setting called "bot" which is used for the automatic created content.

    • Not enough colors for the issue tags.
    • Design is very basic.
    • Info panel has misaligned text too close to the border.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    • Doesn't support GitHub.

    I have never said that the current version would support GitHub. Not sure why one would mention this in the feedback and be disappointed about this.

    • Several other bugs/annoyances.

    Have you reported any? I agree. There where unfortunately too many bugs in the recent release, that's why i stepped back and why it takes so long to release 2.2.
    That said, 2.2 will fix really many bugs, also the mention design issues will be fixed :)

    I have now an additional developer and there's also another guy, who's going to help us with testing and support, which means that we should be able to provide a much higher quality in the future.

    I'll be more then happy to pay you your money back if you're not happy with the product :)

    if I switch to this app from Iawards will my awards transfer over to this app automatically?  I don't want my members to lose their current awards if I switch.

    No, but if you create trophies with the same criteria, they should get them again.

    Purchased this and installed, everything is working great and everyone is loving it. Great way to keep track of bugs on my website.

    But I'm running into an issue with admin permissions. I've enabled everything I can find, but I can't get a non-full admin to be able to create/edit projects and item types. Where is this setting located?

    Sorry, I missed the replies here. Have you fixed this in the meanwhile?

    The importer from the other 3rd party application from ipb3 is finished :)
    Could 2,3 people which are interested into this, send me their 3.x database to test it further?

    Any update on importing old tracker data, please?

    Done:)

    I'm sorry that it took so long, but I had to finish many features in my own app, before I could start working on the converter/importer.
    It will be included in the app with the next release

    I just purchased this app! I hope it continues to be developed and improved. :)

    Edit:

    I just created my first trophy. I set the criteria, and it was automatically awarded. As soon as I got the trophy, I got an error in the back in.

    It's also worth mentioning that the trophy was only awarded to me as oppose to all my members. Is this happening because I am using a CDN?

    Are you using the recent version? The sql error should be resolved already

    @fosters

    Shouldn't "User has posted at least X posts" be checking the member_posts field on the core_members table?
    It seems that it's checking the total amount of posts that the member has posted, but because there are forum categories where admins can disable the post counter, this will result in trophies being given even if the users don't have the right amount of posts on their post counter.

    It's checking already the member_posts column.

    if (  isset( $trophy->crdata['content_count'] ) AND $member->member_posts <  $trophy->crdata['content_count'] )
    		{
    			return FALSE;
    		}

    Sorry for the confusion.

    Fair point, I'll change add a new option in the next release.
    Changing this behavior for existing clients would probably remove trophies for a lot of people, so making a new criteria would make  IMO more sense here.

    Some Bugs

    • Using Field Type {Date} once the application is submitted the date is in Unix Date Format(1491955200). So Something like 4/12/2017 or April 12, 2017 would be much better than submitting it as Unix time.
    • Using Field Type {Member}  outputs in the post the members UniqueID Number instead of forum profile name.
    • On the AdminCP>COMMUNITY>POSITIONS. When you click the EYE to view it leads you to a page with Member, Approved, Application Topic, and then EDIT/EMAIL Buttons when clicking edit or message it does not seem to be going to the correct user.

    An Idea

    So "You can use %1$s to insert the application title and %2$s for the membername" is really fantastic update for Topic Titles.

    I would like to know if it would be possible to add an option which would allow you to set topic titles based on a field or fields for an application. The idea in this is so that Topic Titles can be dynamically generated based on responses to the Application.

    So for example imagine my forum profile name was "Invision" and my application format was...

    * Real Name: Mark

    * Which Division would you like to Apply for?: Division A

    * Misc Info:

    The Topic Title would become "Mark's Application for Division"

    Fixed in 1.1.11 :)
