I use revive.  Allows for accurate tracking and analytics etc.  All my ads are private though, I don't use google ads

Are they actually the same though ? You can use other characters to 'cheat' , look at this:
    Andy
    Αndy
Those are not the same, the first letter is actually different. Use your browsers 'find' to find my name in this page, you will not get it to pick up the second one.
Can you copy/paste the names you allow them to use ? I'm assuming its display not user name yes ?
Another clue here view their profiles on the front end, look at the URL's for each, are they different in that they have odd characters perhaps in them ?

I have complained about this for a very long time now, submitted bug reports and it has never been fixed. I removed all the email contacts in the classifieds and only use phone numbers or the messenger as I was tired of getting all the emails sent to me instead of the seller.

To answer those concerns: put simply we are replying.
The OP has one ticket in support which is the first ticket opened under their account since 2013. The reply history is:
    September 4 - opened ticket
September 4 & 5 - various emails between OP and our staff
September 14 - OP reply back to the email we sent on 5th
September 17 - various emails between OP and our staff
As of this moment we are simply awaiting for OP to reply back to us.

It's not really appropriate to do this on the community (which is why your other posts were removed) but I wanted to be sure the record was accurate for those concerned as we pride ourselves on responsive support. The OP is asking for a refund for a purchase from 2012 - it's so outside the bounds of normal I cannot recall anyone ever asking that before.

Or just get over it and let it go. You had a chance to test the software thoroughly before you bought it – that’s what the demo option is for. Once you bought it, you bought it. There is usually no refund for software sales – especially not years(!) after the purchase. No software company will do that. You’re wasting your time asking for it.

customer visits site A, it has a mobile app.

customer visits site B, it has no mobile app.

Customer B is a consumer, has no idea, nor really cares what software the forum uses, in fact they probably don't even know its a widely uses application.  Customer wonders nothing that has any bearing on IPS

No, and that sounds like a terrible idea. Who would want to be on a site with that function, where you could potentially being muted forever for everyone without even knowing.
If you have a troublemaker, talk to him or ban him or whatever.

i'm not sure this is a good idea to send out every thread.
I sell a lot of private advertising on my forum.  A lot of the advertisers are big companies using 3rd party media companies to purchase their ads.  I talk to as many of these companies as I can and gleam what I can from them, and the general conscensus is that anymore than 2 shares to a facebook page per day is too much and seen as simply annoying.
Apologies if I misunderstood your post though, but it reads like all threads are automatically shared

It doesn't work because you added in the media query

move it up or before the @media screen

Congratulations! You've just murdered a large number of sites that rely on plugins to function.
Very very few of my clients are able to achieve their goals without overriding some of the core code. This approach would make the platform useless for many current customers.

There is no guarantee for that. That’s why it can be useful to pay attention to this and maybe demote secondary matches. For example: if the search for a forum topic doesn’t lead to the topic first but to the authors “activity listing page 15” I would consider deactivating profile indexing. Just an example of course.

The post came from here: https://arbtalk.co.uk/forums/topic/109408-best-chain-for-milling/?page=2&tab=comments#comment-1644099
Google's cache of the page in question is broken: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:ziADbhcNAnYJ:https://arbtalk.co.uk/forums/topic/111210-free-tickets-to-bbc-countryfile-live-with-stihl/%3Fdo%3DfindComment%26comment%3D1644340+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us
My only assumption right now is that there was a widget showing similar content or a post feed block or something along those lines that resulted in the post content in question showing up on the page that is coming up in Google search.

I would be inclined to as well. I’m very curious @ProSkill how your traffic is doing and if there is an increase in correlation to the increase in urls being indexed.

It's turning into quite a debate

I'm really interested in how traffic has been affected by this sitemap thing being introduced
To be honest if it radically increases traffic then I'll be straight there to try it too

Some thoughts in no particular order:
    1. You should mark your tickets as emergency (if you didn't).  That moves you to the front for immediate support.
    2. You can always manually download your package from the Client Area and overwrite your files in your /community or /forums folder.  It's simple FTP with drag-and-drop, which is one of the most basic requisites for being self-hosted.
    3. Congrats on upgrading to 4.3! It's new, shiny, and if you keep up with your renewals you can actually keep up with upgrades which are a lot easier when they're small and incremental.
    4. To IPS, there's something in his root canal that's probably a good takeaway (and no, it's not his teeth).  You need to offer a definitive guide on what folders to safely remove after 3.x --> 4.x.  Your clients are going to have the same issue when you migrate us 4.x --> 5.x, and it's entirely preventable with proper documentation.
    5. Everybody should floss more.  That's the real lesson here.
