  1. I am unsure if its me just simply overlooking this but i cannot find a way to move a post or several posts from one topic to another. We have split the thread moving the initial post over but others have commented on it and we want to move those also as the thread has gone slightly off topic. Put simply can you move a post from one thread to another? and if so how? Thanks, Rob
  2. Hello, We've currently been trying to import some HTML through the editor, but it keeps deleting parts of it. We can allow CSS classes through the admin panel, but we'd like to completely disable that feature so any code can be put in the editor without deletion. How can we do that and where? Thanks British Borders
  3. Ok fantastic. Ill report it now @opentype
  4. Hey @Adriano Faria thanks once again for your great and swift help. It worked perfectly
  5. @Daniel F could you possibly help with this?
  6. @Makoto were do you put the secondary group id for it to check.
  7. Hello, I currently want to do a check where if someone is in a certain secondary group then it will change their name on their profile. So far I have something like this. {{if $member->member_group_id === 75}} <h1 class='ipsType_reset'> {$member->name} example example </h1> {{else}} <h1 class='ipsType_reset'> {$member->name} </h1> {{endif}} but I believe the {{if $member->member_group_id === 75}} only checks primary groups. is it possible to run a check of an ID of a secondary group. Thanks Rob
  8. It just seems the custom error tag doesn't detect the different errors but instead just checks the first one and then saves it as text. Still not found a solution yet.
  9. Hello @Daniel F, Thanks for the response. I'm not looking to override the system i just want to know why when using the (error_message) tag it doesn't work and converts the tags into text. Surely using the tag means it would detect different errors or is that not the case with custom error pages? Thanks Rob
  10. Hello On our custom error page we insert the IPB tags (error_message) as shown in image one: However upon access a restricted page and then revisiting the code it removed the IPB tags and replaced them with text. This means that error are no longer identified properly on our pages. It instead says 'sorry you do not have permission to view this page. See image below. Surely the tags should remain so it can present different reasons/errors. I look forward to getting this resolved. Thanks Rob
  11. Hello @newbie LAC Thats looks like it will be useful just one question. At the bottom of your instructions you state: 6. Create js file 7. Create css file Do you have the JS file and CSS file content so it matches the style of IPB? ___________________________________________________________ Actually i see you have already posted the CSS etc. Thanks again ill give it a try and let you know how i get on.
  12. Yes i have this plugin @SammyS and have tried it however it does not recreate them with the style that IPB use on their guides section. The plugin is great for setting it up but its more the style and layout i am interested in. I am able to set up the DB.
  13. Hello, We are currently looking to recreate the IPB Help guides for our website to display our documentation. I am aware that Databases are required to be used but is this style default (doesn't seem to be) or is it publicly available? can we get the custom HTML/CSS? or does this require a paid plugin? This is what we wish to recreate. Thanks Rob
  14. Its new. The URL is correct and they display how we would like ours to display. Its just is this default or do we need custom HTML/CSS for this to work and if so, with it being IPB, can we get that. Ill post in the area you suggested Thanks
  15. Hello @Simon Woods IPB guides currently display like this Is this the default layout of has this been styles as we don't want the circles etc that were on the previous guides. Thanks
  16. Auto Move Thread Hello On our forums we have recently added a series of predefined prefix's. Is it possible, that when a specific prefix is assigned to a thread it auto moves to a new forum area for example archive? Thanks British Borders

    iAwards

Hello @Adriano Faria and everyone So on our website we have set the award to be issued by the account 'British Borders' as shown below: However when an award is being issued the above setting is not detected for some reason and instead the award is granted to you by yourself as shown below: This has always been the case and we are eager to resolve this.
  18. Thanks BomAle. I appreciate you taking the time to find a solution to the problem i posted about. We have since completely redesigned and created a custom staff page. You can take a look if you like. https://www.britishborders.co.uk/staff-team Having the pop out box as an option, as you have created above, i'm sure would be a feature that many other communities/forums would like and benefit from. Thanks once again Rob
  19. Hello We have found the design of the sidebars menu (as shown below) very useful and would like this or a similar thing on our website. Is there a guide for creating this like the IPB release notes guide or can anyone help? Thanks Rob
