SeNioR- reacted to AlexWebsites in Link Filtering (Allow any links) => Moderate = not working
I was going to start a new topic but see this one exists. When you have it checked off for Moderate, it removes the insert link icon from the editor. I checked multiple sites and at first though it was a group setting. Is this by design becuase I don't understand why that would be so.
If you have it on Allow:
You get it back:

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.

SeNioR- reacted to Marc Stridgen in Custom domain and email server?
If you have email with an external provider and have moved your domain to us, you need to check with your email provider to see what DNS entries you need to be added for your email. This is likely why you arent receiving any. Once you have that, open a ticket and let us know what those are. We can get them added for you right away 🙂

SeNioR- reacted to Marc Stridgen in 4.7.16 update doesn't work
It looks like there has been an issue at exact part there looking at your screenshot. You would need to upload a fresh set of files from your client area, then run the upgrade from /admin/upgrade directly. Its stating there are no applications to upgrade, as its not been unpacked

Just to toss it out there… you can work with AWS to request higher sending limits. The default values are not the only ones possible. 🙂

SeNioR- reacted to Apfelstrudel in 4.7.16 (This site) Pagination on forums with a sub-forum doesn't "work"
Hello Jim,
is this bug really such a small problem that it will only be fixed in the next release?
If basic functions of the UX for navigation are broken, I think it's important enough that it should be fixed in a patch. After all, you can't switch to other pages.
This bug was the reason for me today why I didn't start the update to .16.

Hi @Apfelstrudel
Our developers are working on this issue right now, we're still investigating the cause and then we'll be working on a solution.

Seeing as there were some other people who reported this and were actually running an unsupported version of PHP...what version of PHP do you currently have in use? (view it on the Support page in the ACP)
If it is NOT 8.0 or 8.1, and is 8.2 or 8.3 then drop down to a support version (8.0 & 8.1)

SeNioR- reacted to TDBF in BULK_MAILS_PER_CYCLE Not working as expected.
I have set the constant BULK_MAILS_PER_CYCLE to 100, however bulk emails are still being sent out at 400 a time.
\define( 'BULK_MAILS_PER_CYCLE', 100 );
Thus my emails are getting temporarily deferred due to unexpected volume.
Is this correct or am I missing something here? 🙂

I'll move this to the Feedback forum as this is more a feature/change suggestion than a support issue.

SeNioR- reacted to PTiCA1 in SEO Url with categories
Thanks for all the help, but none of it solves my problem. I would have to have meta tags created for each topic and that is not possible in the mail of contributions we have.
For example, this link from the visitor's search engine leads blindly to a category that he may not have searched for.
1.5TSi engines are in the last five models of the Škoda car company, and in each model they solve, for example, consumption.
If I could see the model I'm looking for in the URL address, I would certainly welcome this option.
I will at least start with editing the META tags

Hello. The navigation on the forum does not work; when you try to go from page 5 to the first, it is impossible to make the transition!

SeNioR- reacted to Randy Calvert in Help!! I can't update to the latest version. There are no applications available to upgrade
IPS has ALWAYS said that 8.3 is not officially supported. It’s not tested against it. While it may work for you, it’s not guaranteed to.
So now you’re coming back to them upset because something did not work because you decided not to listen to them anyway? I’m not sure how you can blame them for this. Just because it used to work does not mean it will always work when they clearly say that version is not supported or tested against.
Before you complain about something, make sure your environment matches the system requirements. There is a reason those requirements exist… they don’t list them just to be difficult.

We have released a patch to address this issue. Please go to AdminCP > System > Support and apply the patch from the first/top left box. If you do not see an option to install the patch, you already have the latest release.

Yes, you need to add your own API key now. The default API key stopped working almost 1 year ago:

SeNioR- reacted to Randy Calvert in Your server does not support using SFTP storage. Please contact your hosting provider to ask for PHP
Most likely your PHP installation does not have the correct module to enable PHP to connect via SFTP. This would be something that would need to be compiled into your PHP installation.
Just because your computer has an SFTP client on it does not mean your PHP client has support for it. 😄
