We have released a patch to address this issue. Please go to AdminCP > System > Support and apply the patch from the first/top left box. If you do not see an option to install the patch, you already have the latest release.

is this bug really such a small problem that it will only be fixed in the next release?
If basic functions of the UX for navigation are broken, I think it's important enough that it should be fixed in a patch. After all, you can't switch to other pages.
This bug was the reason for me today why I didn't start the update to .16.

today we upgraded to the latest release and immediately activated the "blocking disposable emails" feature. (btw, very good idea 😉)
We did three tests with 10 minute or temporary email providers and in every case I was able to finish the registration and confirm my email address.
Did I do anything wrong?

Interesting to hear, but I used Google's top search results for "10-minute emails" or "temporary emails". Maybe I should look on page 10 of the results page to use a lesser known provider. 😄
But seriously now, if the problem mentioned by opentype is like this, then the list of these providers should be optimized 😉.

I had the same experience. It was actually hard to find a temporary email domain that was successfully blocked. But it does work. 

In profile settings

They'll get pruned if there is no reply to the reply...

Please note. We cannot assist with custom queries. However you would need to join the topic table, which would then give you the forum ID. Something like this would give you the forum ID so you can then just add a where clause to limit as needed
select a.id1 as topic_id,t.forum_id,count(*) as total FROM core_attachments_map a inner join forums_topics t on t.tid = a.id1 where a.location_key = 'forums_Forums' group by a.id1 order by total desc

I'm still trying to save a HAR file but the error doesn't appear to often especially in Chrome. In FF I get it more often.

It sounds like you may have configured IP pruning for content (AdminCP > System > Settings > Posting) but not for profiles/device management.
Go to AdminCP > Members > Member Settings > Profiles > Profile Settings and configure 'Prune Member IP Addresses'

Today I found out that writing a new PM or replying to one also triggers the "comment/reply is posted" rule.
I don't want to reward members for PMs in the background. I just want to reward them for posting topics and replies.
How can I exclude PMs from this rule? No PN option is being shown when using the location filter.

Yes it was fixed in 4.6.9.
