Yes, it's stored as [ISBN=??????????] - meaning always some 10-digit number as parameter in the brackets. I mean, sure, it's not super ugly, but also pointless and makes the main information of that posting missing, which was the product preview. Thanks for the offer, that would be awseome! I shall come back. Once I have looked at the Books plugin if that's useful for me and if maybe it's possible to replace the old code with something that make it useful for the plugin even.

One more question: The number of Likes at the bottom (reputation points, I guess? of a posting is green. I have no green color defined anywhere, neither in my active theme nor in the default theme (just to double-check; that should not even be pulled, anyway). Where does the color come from and where can I change it?

Oh it's really old, don't know what my replacer-code was. It used the old 10-digit ISBN numbers of books and would then replace my custom BBcode ISBN - e.g. [ISBN=3956691416] - with an iframe widget available viathe Amazon Associates program, so that it would display a small product preview including my affiliate code. Maybe the Books plugin can do something similar in the future, looking into that, but the challenge remains to get rid of the old [ISBN=??????????] and replace it with something meaningful. I did a search and found out it was used about 800 times, so manual is no option. And SQL is not something I'd dare to touch nowadays, last time I did something resembling that was using Lotus 1-2-3 on 80286 machine ... 🤐

Which is good. What's bad is is that my 15 year old forum is now full with cryptic sniplets across some 400K postings and I have no way to filter them out or better yet parse them with any logic.

Identify Guests as Search Engines?

Is that so? But so far I only see actual users oder "Guest" listed, no search engine at all, and in the past there were always several bots listed. Could there be some conflict with the IPFocus theme I am using? -

Hi everyone, maybe I'm blind (again), but I can't seem to find an option for users (not guests) to click on "Like" below a posting. There's only an option for questions and rating them as helpful or not, which is not why I am looking for. I've seen this in other forums based on this software. People can click on the like button below a posting, there is a counter next to it and you can also see who as liked (pretty much like in FB). Is there no such thing, or does this require a plugin which I also did not find?

Hi everyone, in the past version of IP.Board (3.dontknow) the IPs from search engines were identified and in the list of guests online you would sometimes see "Google" or "Bing". Is there some way or plugin to add this to 4.5 as well? It was very usefull to understand whether all these guests are actually people or just robots.

Yes, I can empty that but it will leave me with a standalone comma in the block's listing, which is why I am looking for the code of that block to edit it.

Maybe my questions was unclear. There is no group which can login anonymously in forum and there should not be. That's fine. However, in the footer there is a listing which shows the number of members online, the number of guests online and the number or anonymous logins (which is 0 of course). I want the latter information to be excluded from that listing as this is not even possible in my forum and might raise questions whether it is.

Ah!!! 😃 Last missing piece is the question around "anonymous" logins. My users can't even do this - and even if I had seen this option, I would have turned it off. My forum is for members only, manual registrations by admin only, and anonymous membership or log-ins are an absolute no-go. How would I remove this mention in the users online block? If it was a user group, I'd delete it, but it's a state.

Ah, cool, that will definitely help from now on. Still I also need to be able to parse all the custom BBCode which has been added in the past 15 years. Where can I find and edit the parser?

I noticed that the list of who is online in the footer and even the full listing of who is online and what they are currently looking at is visible also for guests. This needs to be turned off, as this is of no concern for non-members. How can I turn that off? Also, the listing header in the footer mentions "0 anonymous", which is a problem, as this functionality is not even available in my forum and should not - hence this mention will raise questions with the members. Where can I remove this?

In my older forum I had added some custom BBCode to the BBCode parser as well as a custom icon to the editor. Now, even if I turn on BBCode parsing, there does not seem to be any option to add custom BBCode anywhere. So probably I would need to edit some files. Where would I find this?

But wouldn't that slow down the data transfer considerably? Isn't it the whole point to GZIP to compress the data and speed up the system? Until I find out whether my hoster even allow that ... how come I don't get the error on my iPhone while others do? "Use a different browser" is basically admitting failure, on any website, unless people are complainig why something is not backward-compatible after 10 years. Could it simply be a specific safari version maybe?

Hi everyone, some of my users report they get an "cannot decode raw data" error when they try to access my new 4.5 forum with their iPhone. It works perfectly on my iPhone, though. Does anyone know what might be causing this issue and what recommendation I can give to my users?
