You can do that by editing th dark mode template in your theme. (you can replace the font awesome icons i use there)
but i will try to add an option for that in the next update 🙂

The left side panel contents are the menu bar and you can add/remove menus in acp ACP -> SYSTEM -> Menu manager
 
As for the demo site, I will update it when I get some free time 🙂

I understand.
My concern is for users who are less comfortable with computers in general (we have a few of them), who may not even know anything about dark mode and that would be very surprised by the new look and think they have done something wrong and not recognize the website. 

There is a new icon in userbar to switch between dark mode and the default theme colors 
its exactly one click and the user dont even need to refresh the page 🙂

that wont happen. if it loads automatically then that means the user has choosen dark mode on thier operation system settings, for example on windows or mac or android phones, if you enable dark mode then your website will also load in dark mode color scheme 🙂 
but i have already added an option to disable that including some improvements , so it will be available in the next update

but you can hide swiper slider on topics page with css

@DudeThatsErin You can unistall/disable the ipskitaddons app. (If you are using one of my themes, you must update your theme to latest version )
 
all the features of the ipskitaddons app are now available as seperated apps and plugins for free.

Does it happen if you disable the ipskitaddon app?

Awesome! I was mainly making sure I wasn't just missing something. when those get updated ill update this app and get those two, that way ill be up to date with all your fixes and updates. Thank you!

If you had a magic wand to create a new feature or functionality within Invision Community, what would it be?



I'm especially interested in your thoughts for features or improvements to the discussion engine (aka forums), workflows around that such as moderation, reporting content and members, issuing warnings, etc.
 
Here's a list of updates and fixes from our developers made in the last 7 days:

OK - picking up the OS specific dark mode settings, I see.
A setting to disable that would be ideal, as I've tested it out on a few devices here (Windows,iOS,a few Android) and they're all defaulting to dark even though the OS is not set to Dark mode at the time.
Good work on this one - nice and clean.

Immediately after configuration of the dark mode settings, the theme straight away displays as dark mode and requires a click to switch it back to default.

Upgrade went fine this time.  No issues at all.  Thanks for all that you do.  The problem before was that I couldn't get into the ACP after updating the software.  The drop down menu wouldn't open.  I found that I could get into the ACP using a direct link.  At any rate, all seems to be good now.
