This has happened in the past, Marc. A dormant licence isn't going to earn you anything. But, someone willing to take it over and take up the payments should surely not be discouraged. If both parties share information with IPS, and account name/email are removed and then readded, then why wouldn't you accommodate that?

As @Dean_ said you are running a really old version. Even IPS doesn't support upgrades from it anymore.
If you are comfortable upgrading yourself that's an option, otherwise you can hire someone else to do it for you if you are unsure on how to proceed. You'll also want to check the modifications you have, if there are updated versions of them available in the marketplace, and if not consider hiring someone to update them for you if you don't know how.
 
You can find someone in the Providers list filtering by IPS Legacy Upgrades for help with the upgrade and filter by the Programming options for help in updating eventual custom modifications: https://invisioncommunity.com/third-party/providers/

2: Annoymise all posts
3: Delete PMs/Messages
4: You can unsubscribe from emails, too.
GDPR only requires you to delete identifiable information.

By the way, here is a list of updates and fixes made to the platform in the last 7 days. Nicely done, team! 👏😎
- Changed 'member download' to output comma-separated values instead of tab-separated values to be consistent with member import.
- Fixed some UX issues when revoking an OAuth access token.
- Added alerts functionality.
- Fixed an issue with 'solved' push notifications linking to a non-existent page.
- Fixed a missing language string in member history when spam defense system applies moderation to a new member.
- Fixed an issue where non-image attachments inserted via the editor may not download.
- Fixed an issue where creating a downloads category with the "Keep previous versions?" Setting being disabled would result in a DB error.

Exactly that, but it's a bit of a hassle.

I get what you guys are saying and understand. Actually I fully support what you say. But, manual download from IPS Marketplace should stay intact. That's all. I appreciate what you guys do and that's why I've chosen IPS as my go to and it's always recommended friends. So please don't think I'm being a nuisance.

I would second something similar. As it’s always been a hot topic in the past and we’ve still seen no improvement on commerce.
It really would be nice IPS to get this in for 5.5 and really concentrate on our commerce app.

You need to change the permissions here in the Applications section:

This is the most important entry. You can completely hide profiles from guests and search engines this way. You might want to go through the other entries as well, as the user names can appear in widgets, in search and other places. 
Keep in mind that images remain publicly accessible after these changes and it might take weeks or months until they disappear from search results. You can request a removal for specific images from Google if necessary. 

Is your site paid only? If so, why not close the whole site from guests, so you must be logged in order to see the forum?

Edit; I can see from your site, if it's the correct one, that all the forums are in fact hidden from guests.
If, the above was done after Google indexed your site, these pages would of course now be archived in Google. You'd need to contact them to have the site removed.
