I'm afraid, that there is no ETA at this time. Our team is still working on the issue. You can monitor our Release Notes for when this is included in the software.

I made a plugin ages ago that allowed this customisation, which I think I posted on a topic here somewhere - I'll dig it out, see if it needs some polish.
EDIT: found it in an old dev instance, and it does need some polish added to convert it to an application (to comply with Marketplace rules) and I'll throw it up there once done.

That is really unfortunate, and I would definitely agree with those above suggesting a new hosting service. You'd think that backups would be common practice nowadays.

Thanks Jim, yeah I should have tested them but I've actually never thought about testing them. I've had the site for 20 years, but the backup was only from 2014 as I sold the site then was given it back.
I've looked at the cloud but I'll stick with the stand alone version for the time being as it's cheaper for me. 👍

I would consider a new host in this case.

I hade one error come up, which is no doubt the problem:
You do not have the Multibyte String PHP extension loaded which is required. You should contact your hosting provider or system administrator to ask for it to be installed. I'll get onto my host.

That will indeed cause the site to fail entirely. Please get that sorted first. If you then still have issues, please check the server error logs to see what else is being logged

I assume you're running on the latest version of IPB software?  Have you confirmed your PHP 8 installation meets all of the system requirements?  
Make sure to run it while you're actually on PHP 8 to make sure you see any modules that might be missing.  
And in terms of disabling everything, I assume you checked for Applications AND Plugins?  That you also switched back to a default theme?

Yes, that is absolutely a hosting issue.  🙂 They SHOULD be able to create exceptions to certain WAF rules which will allow it to work.  Otherwise, IPS does offer a hosted solution where all of the infrastructure and server issues are taken care of by them.  

They are not stored in the file system but rather the database. The request being made here is being blocked by mod_security or another security module. Your best bet is to get with your hosting provider and ask them to check the corresponding logs.

This is generally that you have mod_security, incorrect permissions, or some other security modules on your server blocking the request being made here, I'm afraid. I would suggest reaching out to your hosting provider for assistance on this to see why the request is being blocked.

I'm helping @Catsmother with this. Each themes statistics widget is saying different things. If I click on the arrow on the left to get into the widgets settings then click edit on the forum statistics then save, it updates, but then it doesn't update for a good few hours. Its very strange! The sidebar is set to update every minute too. So i don't know what could stop this from updating. 

Also as soon as the cache is cleared via admin CP the stats are updated.

I have a backup but a few members sign up since I install the beta. I guess I'll have to wait until the dev update their apps.
I kind of like the old system before this marketplace, where I could download files no matter which version IPS I was using.

I'll bring it up with the team. It sounds reasonable to me.
