niKee got a reaction from DamonT in Replacing the badge with another (higher) one
I agree. We need an option to replace a previous badge like a badge upgrade.

Currently it looks bad if we want to award ranks for e.g. a round number of posts, likes or years since registrating on the forum. If a user gets a badge for getting 100 likes then there should be an option to automatically hide it when the user gets another badge of the same type, e.g. for 1000 likes. It makes no sense to display these "smaller" badges in the profile.

Exactly! I meant Pages database. Anyway, thank you very much for the answers @Linux-Is-Best and @Morrigan 😊

😂 Exactly, and people do import database records into Invison too. Nothing unusual at face value. 😉

Okay. Which at face value, to me, is a database record from the pages app to a forum topic since this is an IPS support forum. 😉

That is a possibility. I had only taken their question at face value.

niKee reacted to Morrigan in Convert to Topic
To be clear I believe they are talking about a pages database to a topic which is not natively possible.

@niKee to follow-up. If you are looking to import something that was not previously a forum or a forum not currently supported, if it is essential to you and worth the cost and time to have it developed, you can inquire about having an importer developed here https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/forum/506-requests/

I wouldn't say I like this answer. 😅 The overall answer is "yes." Virtually (almost) any content from any database can be converted. Out of the box? It depends on what the source is (was it a forum?). But even if a current important does not exist, you can have one developed.

What you are seeking is an importer. Invision offers more than a few forum software importers. I believe you can even import WordPress. But if you are looking to import a different product, you may need one developed. The overall answer to your question is yes.

niKee reacted to SebastienG in Quizzes
Hello
I have some suggestions for a future release:
- The possibility to indicate the difficulty of a quiz or to generate it automatically according to the results
- The possibility of changing the duration of a quiz by moderators
- The ability to set the quiz options by category (possibility to play several times and update the score). This would make quizzes based on speed and others on initial knowledge
Thank you

It's very easy to implement this stuff via extensions, but unfortunately it requires some basic coding skills.
I can't tell too many details right now, but 2.0 ( NO ETA, but I guess early Q1 2019 will allow this;) Then only the sky will be limit ( criteria:D ) 🤩

No problem and I'm glad you got it fixed.
This is a confirmed bug and will be fixed in the next update.

It works fine for me:
Maybe you're thinking it will do the same in Questions title? No, it is supposed to work only in quiz description.
