That would be great, I think it would be annoying if you had to open every time in certain use cases, such as mine.

Considering the use case of a embedding a chat widget, will the floating widgets remain open if I change pages (through use of a cookie)? or will I need to re-open the widget?

the widget is simply opens and closses on click or refreshing the psge, however, i can add an option to optionally keep it open unless user wants to close it  maybe in next update

Hope the share links could be customizable.

I would agree that more templates included default would be good. I would also say that a few good front page templates would be great to see as well. Maybe share the https://invisionpower.com/ design or other responsive front page templates for beginners to get going.

I see. You’re saying that it isn’t showing tags as a menu in the sidebar view? As far as I remember, it should work only in the main area. I’ll take a look to either remove from sidebar or add the menu. 
No. There are 3 places where a widget can be placed: top of page, bottom of page and sidebar. That’s a framework thing.
If you have Pages, then you can create a custom block and place it anywhere, AFAIK.

I'm looking into buying this plugin.  (Thanks for developing it!).  Some questions / feature requests:

OK, we use stripe. He gets the email to say someone has purchased something, but it doesn't tell him who. He just gets an email to say, a customer has bought xxx and you've  earned $xxx.
So how does he know who has purchased what? 
Even if they use discuss with member feature, he could have 3 people say I'll send you the money, 2 pay up and he'd not know which two.
But without the contact member, if someone uses buy now on its own, he'd have no idea. 

Also he'd need to see delivery details.

The IPS email notification would work for an admin because the back end tells me who's completed the transaction and I get to see the invoice details. The IPS email works here in marketplace because you're not selling physical items. Classifieds needs the extra info due to the physical aspects of the items being sold.
So how can we improve the information to the seller?

Let me put it this way. Group collaboration doesnt add fearures to forums. Forums work exactly the same in a collab as they do outside a collab. So if you need guidance on how to use the forums app, then the documentation for that is on the IPS site.

Are there any updates coming that will actually give new features like the review system, etc?  Seems like development has stalled on this.  Bug fixes are always good, but there is still a lot needed for this to be a GREAT app.

First of all, the quizzes application is really great!
 
An improvement suggestion that many of my members have:
There is a graded mode and a study mode. In the study mode there is a button that shows an explanation of the correct answer. It would be very helpful and an improvement, if in the graded mode at the end of the quiz also a button with explanations of the correct answer would be displayed. Because many members want to know why an answer is right.

The nice thing about IP.Pages is there is NO programming required.  You can do advanced things if you want, but you don't need to.  
What you'd like to do is perfect for IP.Pages.  You create a database.  In the database, you create categories for different authors.  Those authors can write / update their articles, that anyone can read.  
You will need to use this plugin to manage permissions per category:

It uses the default image for when an image isn't posted. Same is used in official apps, like Downloads. That's how it is:

Classifieds App Suggestions:
Every category should have an option to check whether members can post an advert in that category or not (in case it's used as root/placeholder category only). Like in my case I don't want people to post an advert in Audi, BMW, Cadillac but instead in their sub category like Audi - A4, BMW - X5, Cadillac - Escalade etc. Every category should have its own index page, to load all adverts (controlled number) place in its sub categories. Like when someone clicks on Audi, they should see all adverts place under all sub categories of Audi, instead of showing sub-cat that is already displayed on right side - https://carnity.com/classifieds/audi Every category should have the option to add filters on the sidebar, to better search the required advert based on type, condition, option and extra custom fields. We can let people search faster for 2012 model Audi A4 for sale with Automatic gear. There should be an option to show/hide poster name, posting date and show advertisers other option for community admin to decide to use/show or not - already achieved by code edits (hit and trial). Happy to help others. There should be a sidebar on advert page too, showing advert feed from same sub category along with category listing at the same level. Example Audi A4 advert should have other Audi A4 feed on the top right followed with Audi sub category showing links to other Audi categories like A4, A6, A8, TT etc. 

Yes. I can’t change that. It’s how IPS set it up. But it’s an easy process. You just select each of the 3 SuperHelp templates and hit delete. Just takes seconds. 
P.S. You only need to install the latest update if that bug affected you. You can skip it, if you don’t see problems with the record ordering.

Is there anyway to track grades of those who take quizzes? Maybe make something that allows us to set weights of certain quizzes. Then give an average grade? Essentially a school system.
