  1. Social Links icon fixed, I was having a "duh!" moment! Members names are fine in their assigned Group colors, I was wondering if there was a way to change the black box they are in...?
  2. Need some help, I created some test blocks and have been playing around with the settings to see just exactly what the different features are and I have two questions but I'm not sure if the controls for this is in the Advanced Footer App or somewhere else?. I created a block for the Social Links at the bottom and they are just BLACK squares with no icon regardless of the theme being used. How do I change that? I created a block using Members to contain a listing of our staff and their blocks are black and hard to read in any theme. How do I change that?
  3. I uploaded the most recent file just now and my footer does not show up now, settings are all there but no footer??? AND, I just rolled it back to a previous version and it's back. Something broken in the newest version I'm thinking. Any chance you can start changing the version number?
  4. OK, makes sense BUT that means your DOCUMENTATION file is incorrect and needs to be fixed. I was working from it.
  5. Thanks my friend, it's REALLY not showing up here at all. They do show up in the Create New area for the columns but not in the Configuration tab.

  8. I use BOTH Apps. I use Points by Anatik as a companion app for the Members Point Shop. They work together really well AND it allows you a lot of flexibility in how you configure who gets points for what. Points allows you to rename "points" into something else (which I hope TheJackal84 is also working on to complete the picture!), our site is about Goldwing Motorcycles so I changed "Points" to "Wing Nuts"! I've included a screenshot of a part of my spreadsheet for helping me keep track of who gets what from each App. I promise, you won't be disappointed but in my opinion, having both of these is a must! P.S. Members Point Shop has a setting to allow Points to be used with it...see last pic.
  9. Discovered the issue...a Support Ticket was submitted and the problem was quickly identified and resolved. My IP Address was on the Spam list. Knowledge gained: I did not know that it probably wasn't a good thing to create several accounts from my own IP Address WITH the Spam Defense enabled. Apparently, when you do this it flags your IP as a spammer and adds it to the master db resulting in issues trying to create an additional account at your own site AS WELL AS other IPS boards that have Spam Defense turned on! The proper way to do it is to turn Spam Defense off BEFORE creating the additional accounts so that your IP is not flagged! I didn't know this!

  11. Nice update! I did find a button mislabeled though. It's in the My Items list using the Grid View and Table View.
  12. Check out my post back on November 29th in this thread. Had the same problem but a reload of the ORIGINAL took care of it somehow. I didn't have to do anything to my modified themes.

  14. What is the "expected" behavior when submitting a new link? I thought it would automatically go out and create the new thumbnail without doing a Tools -> Rebuild but for me it didn't work that way. It stuck on the "Generating picture..." and wouldn't actually create a thumbnail until I used the Rebuild Tool.
  15. I'm not saying your application is bad (yes it works), just the 3rd party thumbnail providers and I was trying to add my "2 cents" to the topic as well as my use of the rebuild tool. Just in case anyone wanted to know what frustrations some of us were experiencing. AlexWebsites did ask "Has anyone else ran into this?" and I was trying to say "yes" and here's what I did. P.S. I edited my post above to be a bit clearer in meaning.
  16. I'm having this same issue, changing my settings doesn't seem to work, even sneak.pw. I kept changing the settings and using the tool to rebuild and eventually they came back using the "Web Thumbnail" setting. However, new links being added are still not getting the thumbnails automatically and I had to use the rebuild tool again. A little troublesome but workable.
  17. Yes that is what I mean and your explanation of not going through the code makes sense. I am using the Application Forms app to handle "Beneficial Suggestions" from the members and when a member submits a suggestion that app creates a forum topic using that member as the topic starter. For now, I get a notification in that particular forum and can add in bonus points manually. Thanks for the reply TheJackal84!
  18. I did dome more testing on this and apparently it DOES add the points in. What it's not doing is adding the points in when the Topic is being submitted automatically by the system on someone's behalf (I hope that makes sense). I was hoping that when an automated Topic was created in a given Forum for Member "A" that I could award the additional points. Didn't appear to work so I am trying to figure out a work around. Any suggestions?

This is exactly what I do, I've created several different color schemes and by making them different themes I can control which groups actually have access to them, for example, my New Member group only gets a limited choice, my Members get a little more and then my Senior Members get them all. Works for me real well and I am VERY happy with TAMAN's work (although I am a bit surprised to see that News Ticker and Custom Widgets are ONLY basic )!
  20. Which issue exactly? There appears to be a difference between what's posted here and what's on your forum. While we at it, is there a PREFERRED place for submitting these posts?
