  1. First of all thanks for the super fast fix. For the feature: No rush, until the feature is ready we can use a PM for that. It's a nice-to-have convenience feature. Edit: @Adriano Faria I am sorry to interrupt again 😞 While fiddling around with the permissions I found some missing language strings. AdminCP ->Members -> Staff -> Moderators and inside of that the permissions tab AdminCP ->Members -> Staff -> Administrators -> Staff Applications System tab
  2. Hi there, I would love to be able to filter / search by app while translating in the AdminCP. Right now we can only search for the languages and the key. I came across the following problem many times now: While translating a plugin or an application I thought I covered all the strings only to find out that I missed some because they had a slightly different key. So it would be great if we could just search for the name of the app and have every string available for translation then. We already have the "app" column so why not use it? Best regards, Phil

  5. I have to agree with you, it is almost impossible to be 100% compliant. I personally want to reduce the risk to a absolute minimum (I've also added a section inside my privacy policy declaring the youtube cookies). Thanks for the hint Nathan! Do you extend the core function with this plugin? I think I could use this until there is a function to enforce GDPR compliant youtube links.
  6. I am using Chrome Version 70.0.3538.110. As the code seems to be there (I have several table columns with width attributes when examining the site with the developer tool of chrome) I think this might be more of a problem on my end, but I am not sure. Edit: And I found the problem... 🙄 but there is nothing I can do about solving the issue: The problem is the "style" attribute as it uses a comma as a seperator, e.g. width="1,84%", but my browser expects or needs a dot as a seperator (width="1.84%"). As soon as I edit those values on-the-fly I can see the bars. Any ideas? I had a similar issue with a calculated value in my theme. I could resolve it by using "calculate()" inside my css file. Edit2: After some time searching on the web I found https://crbug.com/623347 this entry which dates the bug back to July 2016 for Chrome. Are any other users (probably german users or users with similar locales) able to reproduce this? It seems like this bug happens when javascript is handling css rules (pulling from a css file or creating them itself). You can workaround this bug (if it even is one) when you change the AdminCP language to english as english uses a dot as a separator. German uses the coma and as my language pack is german and uses the german locale I get this comma separator.
  7. Hey guys, in my AdminCP the content breakdown is not visible for me (using Chrome). As far as I can tell this only happens when there needs to be more than 1 bar (e.g. forum post and blog comment). For users which only posted in one section it shows the colored bar. If there needs to be more than 1 bar the entire bar ist just gray. After examining the page I could see that the code is actually there, it is just not displayed with a hint that it may be blocked by a parser-block, cross site script? It does the same for the single colored bars, but as mentioned I can see them. Any hints on how to solve this problem? Might this be a problem on my end or do I have to dig deeper?   8. Hello there, I have some concerns about how YouTube videos are embedded by the software. For a proper privacy policy (at least in germany) you should add that you use the service of YouTube only with an extended privacy policy. YouTube has a function for this while sharing videos: the link changes from youtube.com to youtube-nocookies.com when you tick the checkbox "extended privacy policy". Without this YouTube will generate a cookie for a visitor just by visiting the site where a video is embedded. The user does not have to click on the video or watch it. When using youtube-nocookies.com the software can't embed the video (as the link has changed). I strongly suggest that a feature is added to choose if the software should use extended privacy policy for embedding youtube videos as this could cause some harm with GDPR compliance (posibility of user tracking with the set cookie). The software should furthermore force-change the link to youtube-nocookies.com for the case that unexperienced users post videos without the extended privacy policy checked. As this might perhaps not be a necessity for some countries or courts it can increase the legal security of webmasters. Please let me know what you think of the suggestions I'm quite interested.   10. Hey guys, do you know any solution on how to use existing media / attachements for the feature photo? I want to use the same image for blog entries or pages e.g. as a feature photo (not inside the editor itself but the upload function). Maybe I'm missing a built-in function or any paid plugin which is able to do this. If not: Count this as a request for a plugin? 😉 If I have to upload the same image over and over again this will blow up the disk usage so I'd rather upload the image once and then use it whereever needed.   11. Menu Groups Manager Hey there, is the MGM pulling the theme from anywhere? I'm using a custom theme where the default menu is styled with CSS. Will the MGM look different from that or is it using the default classes of IPS? Thanks in advance, Phil
  12. Thanks for the help. I did all of the above, so I added the UUID. I also read that they only get synced while online on the server and I waited for the groups which are not set anymore to get removed, but I am not sure if your application already can do this (I removed one of three groups but every group stayed, after manually removing it it got added when editing the profile again). The tasks are run by cron job and get executed without any errors in the log. I did not install any cache application yet, could this be a problem? Although the profil won't update even with caching disabled.   13. Should be upgrades, right now I am running the current version. But when I compared my demo site with my live site I got the notification bar in the front end + ACP on the demo site only. In the past I submitted a ticket (ID #996816) where I got the hint that my security key of the cronjob is the same for live and demo (I am / was using the exact same copy to be sure to have everything set up accordingly). So my guess is that I have to re-install as I do not use the demo site right now, but I still do not get any notifications and maybe need a new key for the cron, which is created (from my understanding) unique for every installation.   14. Hey guys, I hope you can help me out. When changing my server I copied the entire community (tar of all folders and files) and the database to the new server. I am not sure if this didn't break some stuff, as e.g. I do not get any more update notifications on the community (the black or red bar above the content or the hint in the ACP) only an e-mail notification. I alway have to go to the support section and select "something isn't working correctly" to be able to upgrade in the ACP. So my question now is: Is it a save way to just delete all the files and folders (except uploads for images etc, backing up and re-uploading afterwards). Upload a fresh installation. Install all applications and plugins. Then import the saved database? Or will this break something else? Thanks for any help Phil
  15. Great application, I instantly bought as I found it. Finally another bridge which is actually supported (*wink wink*). So I stumbled accross some interesting error after the installation: My IPS told me there was a problem with my license key, so I wondered what the heck and checked. But everything is fine, next renewal is due in 2019. So I'm just wondering: Is this an IPS problem or a small hickup of the app? My installation is self-hosted. Cheers Phil Edit: Ok I am not sure if everything went fine, I cannot see that the application does anything, maybe it IS broken by the mentioned error above. It seems like the users don't get synced, nor does the profile update. I ran every task manually. Is there anything else I can do?
  16. Nope, I just want to change the sorting order for just ONE topic. That is my "problem". I could do that for the whole forum, but I have other topics there, which need to keep the chronological order. Best thing will be that I use this plugin and tell the users that they can change the sorting order if they want to do so, I guess.
  17. Thanks for the hint, I am using just one topic where I translate changelogs for the game stationeers into german, so I cannot use the way with the topic title unfortunately. One topic for each changelog would be too much, though.
  18. One question came to my mind: Is it possible to force-set the order for a specific topic? I want to use it e.g. for changelogs, would be nice if the newest one would be on top by default

  20. When I select only specific forums the option does not display. It only works when I set this option for every forum with the checkbox ticked. I don't think this is intended, is it? Best regards, Phil
    This plugin is absolutely awesome. What bugs me a little is that it throws an uncatched error from time to time. With uncatched I mean the page throws an error for the user "Something went wrong", but the logs do not contain anything for this error. Several users already mentioned the problem to the dev on github, but there is no fix as of now. Neither is any information if somebody works on this problem or what might cause the problem (several months now). If users get this error they have to try several times until it works, not that good for communities, when users are unable to log in / register. Back to 5 Stars when this problem is fixed.

Thanks @Patralli I don't know how much I can help you with your question. I am hosting my TS3 server on my own server, so I have full access to the server. If you rented the server, perhaps this topic might help you with the flood ban error. For the instance error I found some topics where it is explained as some sort of return error. The script expects to get TS3 as an answer. Does NFO servers accept queries on the query port? (usually 10011 I think..). Or did they perhaps change the query port to something else? Did the test connection check run succesfully?

  23. Hey guys, does anybody know, how to reset the setting when you first open the approval queue in the ModeratorCP? There's an explanation that you can use the approval queue where every item is listed one by one and you can decide for each item individually. With this explanation comes a checkbox to not show this hint again the next time. When I was quick translating the website recognized my spacebar while typing the translation as a button click or so and accepted this hint without showing it anymore. I want to undo that but I cannot find the right table in the database. Hope you can help me. Regards Phil
