Same thoughts. Looks great! Ads are a priority for me as well. I would love to see new and creative ways to monetize in v5. I don’t run any sites without monetization/ income, otherwise I would shut them all down.

Would love a chat box like the one used in Live Topics, but just as an independent block we can place on a page.   Otherwise is looks like a lot of nice changes!

Very nice looking and nice features.

Please keep in mind that many of us use advertisements as our main source of funding to keep our sites going. I don’t see much room for ads in any v5 snippets.

I've tested this multiple times after disabling all 3rd party apps and plugins. I still get an error when trying to filter by:

I see profile blocking in robots.txt has been removed in the next release: https://invisioncommunity.com/release-notes/
Any markup updates coming in this release?

Does it still make sense to disallow profile page crawling in invision optimized robots.txt settings?
    # Block profile pages as these have little unique value, consume a lot of crawl time and contain hundreds of 301 links Disallow: /profile/

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release.

I just noticed and figured it would make sense to add usergroups to some of the pages blocks like the WYSIWYG Editor so you can pick and choose what groups to show.

I can do it with a custom block but would be faster and easier if these default blocks had some usergroup controls.

If you click "Add button" it actually tells you there which version you should be using 🙂

I would also get behind the share topic button having the topic link without needing to click the more button.  Just like the share comment button includes the comment link with the share icons. I doubt it would make much of a long-term difference, but I don't really see a reason not to support it.
Mostly due to the action being the same for mobile layouts and an easy-to-copy link starts to become a bit more important with mobile users and terrible mobile browsers.

Subscriptions have been available for some time now and offer a good way to monetize your community. It would be nice if each subscription had the option of multiple offers - time frame/settings. Most sites these days offer a discount for an annual subscription. In IPS, you have to create an entirely new subscription/box rather than something like:

Here's another good example from a random site that shows different payment options in case IPS needs inspiration on this commonly-accepted practice:
