Zapier Enchantments for self-hosted communities was the right word choice, though

It's only the "Members" category that is restricted to one marker. The other categories you add are unlimited. This was the same in Member Map too.

    Thanks, I'll look into that.
Can you please post a screenshot? I'm not sure I understood your issue.

    My suspicion:
    1) You have the app installed prior to the IPS 4.5 upgrade
    2) Following the upgrade, you went through the Marketplace onboarding and didn't link the application to an MP listing
    3) The app now shows as Custom in the Application listing
    4) You are trying to install the app again via the Marketplace interface in the ACP.
    5) This will trigger a message indicating that it cannot be installed as it is already installed
If the above matches, log a ticket with IPS support to obtain assistance with resolving the situation with item 2/3 above.

I know the blog application is probably the least used of all applications, but I'm not asking a whole rework; only what the Galley application already has or does for clubs.
For what I have seen, right now, only club leaders or users with moderator permissions in clubs can write in a blog inside a club. This is the most restrictive permission possible. This is also the case, even for public clubs and it means that the blog application ignores the type of club and has the same permissions.
Galleries in clubs have the option to decide who can post images in that gallery: the owner, any club member or anybody.
I think blogs should have the same options enabled. so that members of the club could post blog entries if the club leader agrees.

Edit to add..  Oh! 😪 only an admin can add a picture cover in a club blog. 🤷🏼‍♂️    and blog cover pictures can't be added while creating the blog. First you create the blog, then you add the cover. This explains why most of my community blogs have no cover at all.

The Marketplace is a service. While you are of course acquiring third party resources, you are not obtaining them directly from third party authors and it is really no different than other app stores. Your transaction is conducted through IPS and the Marketplace is a remote service. The point here is just to dispel the silly notion that we're in "breach of contract." The EULA makes clear the fact that a renewal is required for all updates, services, etc.
To provide further clarification, an expired license does not shut off the software and you may continue its use in an "as-is" state (at time of expiration), but it does effectively render both the license and status as a customer as inactive. It is no secret that our company is based on the recurring investment model, so while we don't want anyone to feel held hostage to renewals and we try to reasonably accommodate all customers past and present, our decisions and prioritization of goals will ultimately be in the interest of those continuing along side of us, sharing our overall vision.
With all of that said, this topic has been discussed several times and ultimately, the Marketplace was moved to the AdminCP for what I hope are obvious reasons. A significantly improved and smooth experience for the majority of customers who want a point-and-click experience, consistent with most non-classic "forum" platforms. We want to take every reasonable measure possible to ensure that when you click to install something from the Marketplace, it will be a successful and safe experience for you. We've tightened the framework around that to ensure you're notified with seamless updates from authors and anything installed through the Marketplace framework has been reasonably reviewed by us. We made the decision to disallow manual downloads from the Marketplace as it is entirely counterproductive to the goal we set out to achieve in the first place.
I want to stress that you are welcome to contact an author for manual file provisions if you would like and we do not prohibit them from providing it. You may also purchase from some authors directly if you wish. The only caveat for both cases is, you would use the manual (old) framework to install and update these resources manually. A warning will also be generated because these are untested files - similar to Mac and Windows. Beyond that, we're not standing in your way of using the "old school" way - we are just not facilitating it as again, it is counterproductive to our goal of something that resembles more of a proper app store and not just a repository of "files."
I'm sorry for the disappointment to those find the previous method to work better for them. As you know, we try to take on board as much feedback as we can - after all, there's no point to any of this without customers. Nonetheless, while we've heard the feedback loud and clear, we do not intend on reversing course on downloads or policy changes, so at this juncture, I would very respectfully ask that we move on to other, more actionable feedback items.
Thank you as always for your continued business.

This is for IPS software and services, nothing to do with third party applications.  The Marketplace is an optional addition supplied as a point for buying third party resources for which IPS takes a commission from each sale.  It has been stated elsewhere that IPS barely break even with the Marketplace in terms of server resources, space, administration etc., but that's between IPS and the third-party developers.  When we 'buy' a resource we are buying from the third party not IPS, so IPS should not have control over our ability to download that purchase whenever we feel like and for as long as IPS retains the Marketplace and we pay renewals to the third-party as part of the overall purchase for support and updates.
As it stands right now, there is no visible way to download any third-party purchase we make as it must be installed from the ACP. For previous iterations of the IPS software before 4.5.x those resources purchased can be downloaded.
I understand the reasoning behind the ACP Marketplace, and it is handy to be able to install direct, but as in your quote above access to that resource is conditional on having an active license, so that obfuscates the ability to install your purchases and you have no recourse to pay for renewals of the IPS software to get access to what you have paid for, thereby preventing you from reinstalling from a downloaded copy.
As someone who will always have an active license I have no issue with this, but if ever there came a time when I could not afford a renewal fee and I hit an issue with my site and just wanted to do a refresh, I'd be stuck.  In many ways I'm playing Devil's Advocate for those who may come across this limitation.  Some clarification from IPS would be good to have so people understand what they are buying into.

All data are grabbed from TMDB and added in your database. The API works only to provide the data. Images are uploaded to your server as any uploaded image.
Let me know if you want to test it online.

Hey @Adriano , I have 2 questions about this application.
When I import a movie, where is it saved? Do you grab the info from TMDb and add it to a table in the IPS database ? or it shows the info directly from the TMDb database ?
I say this because if one day the API is not working, my website would lose all the info.
If the movie info is saved in the IPS database then is it possible to update it ? For example, if there is a new season for a series.
Same question for the pictures. Do they link to the TMDb website to show the picture of the movie ? or the thumbnail is copied and saved in my own server ?
    Thank you

would it be possible to add the option to allow  members of the club to write blog entries for the blogs in clubs ?
Right now, only the club leader (or any moderator of the website) can write in a blog included in a club.

    I know I'm a pain ..   ??‍♂️  but, can I make a request ?
Could you add an option to redirect to an specific url, instead of opening the IPS contact form? I'm interested, but I need to use my own forms.
On my websites, when users click on "contact me", they open a page in IPs that loads a Zoho Form or a Jotform.
This form is like a step by step process or a survey, where I guide them through a series of questions/answers. For example, the 1st question is "why do you want to contact me." .. possible answers: "I want to have my account deleted", "You have pictures that I want you to remove", "I need help setting up a professional profile", "I have a business proposal" etc.
Depending on the 1st question/answer, I give them specific instructions until I ask for their names, email . This way I get specific problems that I can address more efficiently.

    Hi !
Would it be possible for a future upgrade to add an option to copy the "messages" of the topic as an extra data ?
Messages are those boxes with an editor you can add at the top of the topic.
I use that feature a lot, with 1, 2 and sometimes 3 messages in a topic, and It would be very helpful.

Oh, and a big one: Online Courses!
With Pages databases in clubs we could easily sell online courses with articles, video lessons and so on. The entire club could be a paid course and the usual features like discussion area are there already as well. And members could make money selling courses and admins can get a cut of it.

    What's fixed in 1.0.3
Fixed issue with limits not being applied to replies when plugin was configured to target some (not all) forums. Note: no new features in this release - I'll be looking into a version 2 soon, and will be adding some additional functionality which will include at least the following:
extending the plugin out to Pages database records and/or comments. ability to set different limits per group, instead of the current 'one size fits all' approach. ability to apply limit to first post in topic and/or replies to topics. adding additional items into the limits, such as number of videos, images, links, spoilers, attachments and emoticons/emojis. No ETA at this time - when there is an update then it will be provided.

The language depends on the book you add - If you add a German book the text will also be German if available. You can test at goodreads if the content is available in your language: Just visit https://www.goodreads.com/ and try 'Search Books'
If you can find a book there it will very likely also work in the plugin - Some data is not available in the plugin due to goodreads copyright issues though, but most of the time it works and if it doesn't it's usually just the cover missing.
Manually editing content is not possible right now, I might add custom image and text upload for all ThreadStarter plugins in a future version though.

For hiding or changing the layout you can edit the template using Admin > Themes > Edit HTML and CSS. To get rid of the rating just remove the line starting with '{{if isset($data['averageRating'])}}' in the threadStarterBookBig template.
