I'm just going to be upfront with you.
I will remain slightly bitter until the automation and gamification options we could build with Kevin's app become a fully integrated core feature. I cannot overstate just how crippling losing the 30+ custom rules I spent hours building myself was to our site. I'm a broken record about this, but you can go into my post history and find examples of how I used this app to really get Invision going to its full potential based on the needs of my community, which was a lot.
I'm not talking about just "fun stuff" either, I'm talking about automation that increased the staff workflow tenfold, boosted engagement with custom emails and front-end notifications for too many things to list, added extra functionalities to downloads, commerce, and groups (clubs) that were missing that should come standard (in my personal opinion), etc.  And the biggest kick in the throat is that we also were able to improve on the apps that Invision barely updates, like the gallery for example. That's one of the most used apps in my community, second to pages which features a lot of gallery based content.  I know they just do basic maintenance on the other apps because forums is their bread and butter, but god damn they treat the gallery like their red-headed step child. Since moving here in 2017 I have suggested so many improvements that have fallen on deaf ears it seems.
We've had to backtrack so much that when I heard of the Zapier integrations, it almost brought a tear to my exhausted, frustrated eyes.  Finally a light at the end of the tunnel for my community... but now it's locked behind their cloud service.
Invision charges $590/m for 100GB storage in their cloud service (that's the option I would have to select if I were to switch)... that is more than my yearly server and storage costs combined, and that's PER MONTH.  I pay $7/m for 1TB storage, and if I go over that, it's only an additional $6 per TB.  I don't want to leave Invision.  I'd rather just stick with the software even if it's not perfect to save my community the hassle of having to move again, but that is just very unrealistic.

Language bits for translations. Just a little more helpful, please !!! Sharing bits in the admincP and frontpage is confusing.
It would be cool if you could specify and filter according to position: Frontend, admincP or both. So I can decide which ones I want to translate first, since admincp is not visible and not a priority. It would be very helpful too, when new features are included and you have no freaking idea how to the bits that will appear in front page. 3 months later, you see a bit untranslated and it's exhausting to haunt them.
Or even better, you could also specify if you want to translate bits of language in the adminCP or not. Many of us keep the admincp in English, because it's easier for use to find information and write about issues in tickets or forums.

I needed a forum software but at that time I only knew about vbulletin  phpbb and smf. I don't like vbulletin, and the others don't look professional to me. So I needed to goggle for options.
Instead of googling "forum software", I did what I normally do to find competitors. I typed in google "vbulletin vs " and all the options appeared to me.

    All or nothing, yes.
There has not been any changes to the clubs widget.
    Not for 4.3.
We're not planning a light version, no. The majority of Commerce's functionality, or at least it's most complicated stuff (the orders, payment gateways, managing customer data like billing addresses and stored cards, handling tax, etc.) is shared. The "storefront" is one of the less complicated parts of it.
    Yes. All apps.
    Sorry, not in 4.3.

Actually, this does exist - you can configure individual member groups to require moderator approval of content before it's shown to other members, and even define a time or an "approved posts" limit for when that restriction is automatically removed. In this instance, it will only show to the user making the post, and to moderators, as you mention.

Another solution for humans spamming is to allow them to post but make their posts only visible to them and moderators, but not the rest of users. This way they post happily and everybody ignores them.
I know this is something that IPS doesn't have and I'm also aware it's a tool designed for trolls, but I once participated in a forum with this option for spammers and trolls and was very useful. By the time they noticed the problem they were already bored.

I never used IPS spam system, but I had another good strategy that worked with Q&A challenges. You simply replace some of the letters in your question with cyrillic, which have many letters that overlap with latin. This way bots cannot read your question, because it is not uncommon for bots to google your question and extract the answer from the result.
Lets imagine that the question is:
What's the capital of Great Britain?
Whаt's thе cаpitаl оf Grеаt Вritаin?
Look the same to humans, right? Try to paste it in google and see the difference. Although google smartened up (it used to completely blank on the second question), it cannot provide the automatic answer it does with the top question. So to those of you that have bots passing succesfully their Q&A challenge I would recommend to try this strategy. Or at least pick up a question that google cannot answer automatically.
Anyway, this is past now. I have disabled the Q&A, enabled recaptcha2 and I have not seen a single spammer since then.

Will we be able to customize the reactions per forums ?
I say this because it's nice to have all those reactions in specific sections, but if we have a forum for the community guidelines and someone clicks on "thumbs down" it's irritating. it's easy to troll the system.
We should be able to exclude reaction per forums and also decide which reactions are available and which reactions are not available for specific sections.

The concept of these social groups has been around for ages, e.g. in vBulletin and people asked for a native IPS implementation for ages. IPS is just fulfilling that wish, not copying what this third party app “invented”.
Personally, I have been waiting for a native social groups feature. I would hate if IPS would not implement such a feature just because something similar is available from a third party vendor already. That shouldn’t be their concern.

It’s a core feature, so you don’t pay extra for it. What is available within the clubs (gallery, forums, blogs …) depends on whether you have these apps installed.
