Doesn't seem to work any longer, neither does your lights app.
Any chance you'd consider updating them, even if it meant they were now paid apps?

@TheJackal84: I'm not kidding you when I say this, I became that impressed with your chat application that I went ahead and purchased it. Not only that, however, it made me want to upgrade to IPS 4.4 something hadn't wanted to do until I saw this.
This is a great idea.
I run a fan site for my local football team, the match chat used to be very popular, but CometChat lost their heads and became bloatedware. One thing, however, I liked, was the ability to send voice updates. I would give the thumbs up to this idea, especially if you added settings that would enable only certain members to use the function. I or someone trusted could then give updates on the game as it happens (like commentary). 😍😍
I also like this idea.
The ability to attach/upload images from a smartphone or tablet would be awesome, I often shared pictures throughout games similar to the above voice function. It's useful outside of that as not everyone these days has a desktop computer and otherwise they might not be able to share images.
My suggestions:
A dedicated chat room moderator(s) - (Allow us to choose who mods the chat rooms and pin them to the top of the online list). Chat room logs - (very useful to read through incase anyone does something they shouldn't, otherwise without proof it becomes he said, they said). Report chat messages - (like the above, if members could report comments live it would allow for better moderation and quicker action to be taken). Disable sounds and notification alerts inside the chat room(s) individually. Member statuses (Availible, Away, Busy) - (Useful to know if someone is absent, as it marks them and during a long conversation it allows people to notice easily). Invite members (this would send a notification out asking a member to join x room). Show who has seen each message (much like Facebook Messenger does). -Ignore if it does- Does this block filtered bad words? If not, please support the default feature. I think this application is wonderful, I almost considered buying an option mentioned earlier, however, I couldn't justify the price and I felt it wasn't quite right for what I needed. I can see this working well straight out of the box - yet I am seeing a lot of potential to improve it. Seriously, thank you for releasing and already taking on improving it by adding our suggestions. I hope it replaces the whole that IPS left when they disbanded their chat system as I feel this is perfect.

If updating you will need to go into each chatroom and container in the ACP and re-save the permissions for them, the permissions can be found in the padlock button of the containers and chatrooms

I will look into the code to the online bit and see if I can spot anything to say why that might be happening.
Hopefully update will come today if all goes OK, follow the file if your not and you should get a notification when updated

Not yet, but it is something what will be coming in a future update, maybe not private 1 on 1 chatrooms but private messages etc, I will need to see the best way to do it

Not by default. But one workaround would be to use the time delay feature and set "Welcome member groups" to your member group. You would also need to somehow change your default member group to something else.
The Auto Welcome app has been updated for IP.Board 4.4.x.

And a remark one of my forum users had:
If you ignore a forum and you enter the ignored forum, it appears to be empty. No topics show up. You have to unignore it to see any topic. In our opinion, if you enter intentionally an ignored forum, it's topics should appear.

Yea, that's the problem;) Somebody who was inactive for 3 year, was also inactive for 30 days, so all rules would apply here and all emails would be sent out and I can't think of any solution how this could be changed.
I guess I could add some further logic here, where one would have to setup rules dependencies.. Something like:
Rule 1: 7 days
Rule2: 30 days
Rule4: 3 years.
 
Then you could configure rule 1  to ONLY be triggered if rule2 or rule 4 doesn't apply to this member.
Rule 2 should only be triggered if Rule 1 was run and rule 4 NOT.
 
Any better idea?:)

What i have had to do now is uninstall the application and start over. 
I now have just one rule which is set to inactive for 30 days. I have attached the settings of that rule. 
I have now run the task again and it seems to be running ok. 🤞
I also want to set rules for different inactivity periods but it seems when i do users get emails from all rules.
For example i also want a rule to send members that have been inactive for 3 years an email saying they might loose their account etc. The problem is that users will also get the 30 day inactivity email and it just leads to confusion and frustration for the users which is not what i am trying to acheive here. 
 
In an ideal world i would like to have an email sent to users who have been inactive for 7 days just as a little rimder that we havnt seen them for a week then a 30 day email to try and bring them back in then a 90 day email then a final email for the 3 year inactivity and possible account removal. But if i have members that have been inactive for 3 years they then trigger all these rules and get all these emails at once and it doesnt make sense. 

 
It seems to me you can only really have one email rule as longtime inactive users will trigger all rules and get all emails. If this is the case then please clarify this for me. 
If you can have only one email rule then would my 30 day rule run every 30 days a member is inactive? 
For example member SAM is 30 days inactive. They get the email and do nothing, so when they hit 60 days inactive will the rule trigger again or will they infact get an email every day as they are over the 30 days? Its just not clear how the rules work.
