  1. @superj707 ACP->Community->Forms->Forms->Edit In there you determine what output the form creates: topic, private message, email. You can use just one, a mix, or all three. This is where you can use the Quick Tags that are underneath the name of each form field.

So I eventually got around to this and wanted to check a couple of things since my ACP had a slight blip after installing it -- though I suspect it was due to my computer rather than the app -- and would like to make sure before I move to far into using the app: Does it work with IPS cloud hosting? Is it supposed to add a top-level menu into the ACP? It added the Topic Cover menu to the top on the very left side of the ACP.
  7. Thank you! Now I can delete tags with special characters and maintain my position beyond page 1 of the tag list. Also, the issue with the Support Tool has gone.

  9. I tested with one account and it worked! I'll try more soon and see what is happening with my members.
  10. It wasn't working properly when I went public with my new fields. However, I wasn't sure if that was my fault and I am going over the permissions again anyway, just to check on them. Either way it's good to see that a problem has been discovered, since now if it doesn't work then I'll know it's more likely to do with the core or another third-party item.

  12. Thanks! These instructions are great! Unfortunately it is displaying the images as broken. I ran check_system and everything is fine with cimage.   13. @Adriano Faria I am about to make a whole bunch of new fields open to use for my members. At that point I'll have a lot more data that I can use to give better feedback.
  14. Have been testing it and it is easy to use, for the most part. As usual, good work from @onlyME. I have one area that I am struggling with -- resizing. Without the "On-the-fly Image Resizing URL" there is no way for the images to resize, which means that images of different sizes to the dimensions set in the slider manager are stretched and don't look good. I need to make sure that I am correct with this observation? Assuming I am correct, can you use "On-the-fly Image Resizing URL" with IPS cloud hosting? If so, can anybody point me to help with setting up something like Cimage or phpThumb, or any such service? Those services don't look as if they are simple to use.

Sorry I wasn't clear; I meant to say that the initial status post in the widget -- the top-level post, if you will -- does not embed anything, whilst the replies to the status do embed things. This can be seen in the widget at the moment, with the status update that starts: "If Google could...".
  16. Thanks! The bulk editor would be greatly improved if your position on the page is kept post-action. Hopefully this is both possible and not too difficult to achieve. For the previous issue I got help with here, IPS says the file used to fix it is several versions behind and if it is an IPS system file they cannot upload it. They need to know if the file is specifically for this app and where it needs to be uploaded to. They have said this despite the post where the file is attached also containing a quote from IPS support. I just wanted to keep you up to date on that issue in case new customers complain to you. It seems like IPS support has their wires crossed or are just deciding to not use their previous history with this issue as a means to helping now (and I assume in the future).
  17. For the issue with tags not deleting, is there any fix for that? Or do I hold onto the unwanted tags until a fix can be done? Also, when tag deletion works I get taken back to the first page of my tags after each deletion. Is it supposed to do that? That is a particularly unfriendly way to do anything in bulk.
  18. This is the issue I had until I updated to 4.1.16. As long as the groups in "Allowed" and "Visible" matched then my staff members could see them. I'll have a full and thorough test for 4.1.16 up and running in a few days so I'll report back with those results. I won't be updating to 4.1.17.x for at least ten days.
  19. Yep, that's what I thought! I was wondering if there was a "delete all tags at once" option but that seems to be a mechanism that is lacking across IPS4 as a whole.
  20. An embedded YouTube video and a gif just worked in a reply to a status update but the gif still doesn't work in an original status update itself.
  21. When it says delete tags "in bulk" does that include all-at-once? Or does it mean something else?
  22. I updated to 4.1.16.1, made the edits again, and still no luck. Mentions also don't display with the link and the hover card. Forgot to mention that it also doesn't work on the default theme. @Mike John, would it help if you had ACP access or no?
  23. It does extend to "About Me" since that is just a profile field. You can even edit that field or make your own version of that field and this plugin will extend to those. @Adriano Faria I've tested this again since updating to 4.1.16.1 and it seems to work. Just waiting for my staff team to confirm for sure.

Hey Ryan, I'm about to start using the app heavily and wanted to check on this message I got via the Support tool in the ACP: I'm posting it here because it mentions prefix so just wanted to check if you think it is something to do with the app? I have the option to 'Fix Automatically' but wanted to check first just in case.
