  3. It is indeed a very old bug, it kept happening over the last years but this was the first time the table truncate did not fix the issue. (Even when https://remoteservices.invisionpower.com/ is accessible from the host via curl.) In which version was this fixed?
  4. I have renewed my license last week, it is marked as active in the client portal. Since last night, I received 9300 notifications about my expired license (roughly one every 6 seconds). Login to the forum frontend takes minutes for an admin, and when trying to log in to acp, it simply times out. Already deleted the excessive logs from the table "ibf_core_acp_notifications", how can I force a cache reset (or a lic.key reset) via cli?
  5. @greg_repolitic It is possible that the timeout was from the webserver and the mysql command is still running. You can check it in a new phpmyadmin window under status > processes: It will list the running mysql commands. If the conversion query is still running there then you should wait until it is completed.
  6. The marketplace login will not work if the board is offline or there is a .htaccess in place. Also, having the board permanent offline kinda defeats the purpose of testing, because the board is... well, offline.
  7. @Adrian Pricina also, please note that you will not be able to install anything from the marketplace on a localhost test install.

  10. Hello, We have a nonprod IPS installation with a testinstall license in a closed environment. It has access to internet, but it is behind firewall, not accessible from the internet (I think that is the requirement for the -testinstall licenses anyway.) I can upgrade IPS without any issues, but when I try to login to Marketplace to download my purchased addons, I get this error: "There was an error authenticating with the Marketplace. Please try again later or contact technical support for assistance. Our Marketplace server received an unexpected response from your community. Please ensure your community is up to date and web accessible (localhost installations are not supported) and contact technical support if the issue persists. (server_error)" The test instance is a like-for-like with the production environment, same config + domain (we run the upgrades/rebuilds/etc on the nonprod site, and if it successful, we just copy the db + files to the prod one.) What is the current best practice to run an internal nonprod IPS and to be able to download my purchases from Marketplace? Thanks in advance.

  14. @Marc Stridgen imo it tried to allocate 2+1GB here. very few servers allow that much ram for PHP. does the whole file need to be in memory for the upload? @Ryan M how many GBs are you trying to move to S3?
  15. While having valid license, my forum generated about 4000 admin/license warnings over a few days - it made the admin interface login timeout until I cleared that mysql table manually. Utterly annoying and it was not the first time it happened.
  16. Thank you for describing how the logo setting works - tbh it is self explanatory 🙂 I was just curious why your theme's name should not be changed since I have never had tech issues after renaming any other themes.

  19. Hello, I'd like to remove member to member messages (profile comments? profile wall messages? not sure what the exact name is) from the Status Update block. I like reading the users own status messages, but most of the messages posted on someone else's profiles are regarding classified ads (do you still have XYZ?) and they don't belong to the front page. How can these be removed from the block?

  22. After a lucky admin login (when it did not time out), I was able to empty cache and it solved the issue. Thank you.
