Hisashi got a reaction from Matt in UI Polish in Invision Community 4.7.8
I'm enjoying seeing these small improvements to make the layout modern. It is even better to see community participation with suggestions for improvement.
@Adriano Faria made great observations.

Hello,
A couple of suggestions:
Couldn't these buttons be the same size? It gets pretty weird like that. It gets even weirder when there are only 2 buttons.
-----------
Another visual detail that could be better is the grid view of the Downloads categories:
No user photo. No date (submitted/updated).
Could be something like this but better:

It is satisfying to see that the IPS team is always working to modernize software, the information is a little complex for my knowledge, but I see it as a big improvement.
Some things are outdated, but like the calendar and gallery app, little by little they are being improved.

Nice to see Invision still innovating and offering new features.
I don't mind that it's "cloud-only", as long as they still keep basic updates for self-hosted I'm happy with that.
I imagine (and I could be wrong) that this is increasingly aimed at more corporate/professional clients. The people who make money and spend money, which Invision needs.
In the end many of these are "bells and whistles" – nice to haves but won't transform (or save) your community; only content and mindshare will do that, not these, so let the cloud folk have them.

There’s also going to be a new Zapier trigger which gets fired when a reply gets marked as solution.

From what I understand only for communities with a someone paid plan. So this not be available for self-hosted instances.
By the way, they should mark these types of articles with the information that the features are only available to CLOUD users.

Articles already receive a record in database of how many views they received.
I would like to look at the data based on periods, daily, weekly, monthly. To understand what my users are viewing, or a list of 'top views' (articles).
These are highly relevant data.

This is indeed an excellent tool, I liked the novelty.
I hope to one day see a native feature that determines the minimum amount of characters to submit a comment.

Any plans, this could also see its way into Pages in the future?

Looks like a nice Christmas present is on the way!
You mention in the rules that an achievement can be granted for a purchase of a product or package… does this by any chance also apply to donations? If so, you’re going to solve a big problem for me. 🙂
I like your example about getting an achievement for buying a tshirt… it would be super cool if we could reverse that. Meaning if they get an achievement be able to give the member something (like a tshirt)! In this case maybe have the ability to issue a credit to the member account or allow them to make a one time free purchase etc. Think of that “Super Helpful” badge being able to give them a prize as well.

This is a bit of a slap in the face to self hosted clients. Nothing to celebrate here. 👎
