Could add new rules for specific days, where the user receives when logging in that period.
Examples...
- I want to deliver an badge on date x (12/01) because it's the site anniversary.
- I want to deliver an badge during date x ~ y (12/01 ~ 12/07) because during this period an event will be taking place

IPS already offers a built-in Word Filter feature
You can also check out third-party Marketplace items, such as this:
https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/8483-bim-hide-link-and-code/
https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/8395-ne-hide-content/
You got it completely wrong... I know the two resources from the link and the ACP tool, it is nowhere near the same as the suggestion.
- ACP word filter: Affects the entire community, it goes completely against.
- Bim hide: This feature is for administrative use and for the user who posted to block content with [hide][/hide] in exchange for engagement like likes and replies.
- NE Hide: Again it's for administrative use, that's not the idea.
This is a filter created BY THE USER, where comments/content involving a specific word is hidden only for him.
The best example for you to understand: https://twitter.com/settings/muted_keywords

This feature would be perfect, if combined with a system that automatically adds tags according to the title (something like the "Pelando" app does) it would generate more engagement and registration of tags.

Will there be options to optionally automate account deletion in some way? E.g. 14 days after an account request for deletion has been sent and with no admin reacting in this timeframe, the account will be gone automatically?
This is extremely important, for the security of hacked accounts or if the user gives up deletion within a period of time. An example of this is google, facebook and twitter.
Ways to do this...
- The administrator has the ability to set the revoke time.
- During the period of exclusion, the content remains anonymous only with the ability of the moderators to identify.
- After the deadline, the administrator can set an automatic action for the account (or manually if desired).
It would be great to remove this obligation from the administrator having to evaluate everything, if he wants to make everything automatic and use his time for other matters.

That was not my point. I'm talking about the fact that Amazon S3's service is probably perfect in their eyes, and they don't see the point in adding another one.

I use their video(Stream) service, their CDN is ridiculously GOOD. With an excellent player and functionalities.

Even finding this suggestion difficult to pass, due to the fact that IPS uses the Amazon S3 service in the cloud plans.
I really hope for news in the future in this regard, it's bad to have only one option when there are so many other services of the same quality or better. Worldwide known.

I support, Backblaze B2 is an excellent choice and widely known in the storage market.

We had FTP but it was really very bad

Does IPS intend to add other storage methods, so that customers can have more options?
-
This is impossible when a user is hosted. It will always be stored on the localhost of the installation.

Mount it as a volume on your server and access it as if it was part of your file system, and use the "Custom URL" in the file storage setting to point it to the other server.
I kind of do this for specific files, but if there was a way to automate it with the inivision community that would be perfect.
-
Additional to topic
There are other service options.
- Google Cloud
- Backblaze
- Wasabi
- Azure
- DigitalOcean

Maybe I didn't use the correct term for this suggestion. I think the proper method is SSH
An option would be created where you would inform the data of the other server that will be used to store the files.
Then you would create a subdomain to point to the IP of this server.
-
Downloaded?? No.
The file would be available like any other image on the site, it would just be pointing to another server.
-
@Matt there's a question I always ask myself. "Why didn't IPS add other storage methods until today?"
Amazon S3 can be a very expensive option for some people. FTP can be a much more interesting option, allowing administrators to distribute their files on different servers.
This also helps to reduce the processing load of files such as downloads and gallery on main server where the site is installed.

I had a post that was in that forum. It’s now in the Marketplace forum so I’m assuming that forum is now for both mass marketplace items as well as custom requests.
The problem is that everything gets mixed up with marketplace support topics, and it becomes a complete mess, you don't know what third-party service is and what support is.
Before, developers followed the forum, as a new topic already means a possible new job.
-
What happened to the requests area? It was a great area for users to find a developer for their projects.
Even knowing the existence of "Third-Party Services", it is very inconvenient to have to send a message to each developer. Many are already busy with other projects.
[Suggestion] Force email exchange

Any user can be flagged within the account, this is nothing new.
An example of this is the Terms & Privacy Policy
The IPS software handles this kind of task very well, it wouldn't be new if that was the issue either.
All tasks you perform in ACP must be done with care, in any case the user would only be forced to check the email again, you are not killing him.
----
Also, it could simply be a button on the user's profile in the ACP, the manual process could be annoying but it's better than nothing.
I don't want to have to notify the user that their account will be blocked because they are using temporary email on my site, I want to let him make his choice whether to activate the account again or not.
