I remember using SMF back then, (2009) and read some topic about Vbulletin vs IPB as a paid alternative
and I did some research for VB and IPB, finally i choose IPB ?

The mother had babies, then the babies ... created more babies. Anyways, it was definitely an odd experience. They were cute little pets though, and very gentle (if not extremely timid).

I had guinea pigs for a while many moons ago. They kept multiplying though (literally - we'd wake up one day and 3 more would be in the crate).

It's not IE11-specific, but we're aware and will get them updated.
This was not a feature we were able to include in 4.3 I'm afraid. Please feel free to review our blogs here to learn more about the new changes that are coming with 4.3.

As mentioned in the original entry, if you run into any problems please post them in the bug tracker. Comments in a blog entry aren't the best place really to report issues.

With javascript, we can detect if the user's browser supports the video file that was uploaded. If it does, we show it as a playable video instead of just as a downloadable file.
In short, this is a "progressive enhancement". The backend functionality has not changed at all - users go to a topic and can upload a video (if permitted), just like they can now in 4.2 and below. The only difference is, when a user comes along and sees the post later, if their browser is capable of natively playing that video format then it will. Otherwise they will continue to see a download link like they would now.

The first time a user visits the community when they login through a remote service, if any details that are required are missing (username or email address) the user will be prompted for those details. Naturally we will be unable to email the user if we do not have an email address for them.
Please post requests in the appropriate requests forum. For now I recommend just including the image remotely linked in the event description field.

We have not implemented REST API Schema yet, however it was brought up in our internal suggestions tracker as a result of that topic.

This entry actually has nothing to do with Gallery (which still requires you to upload a thumbnail/poster if you wish to use one, yes).
All this blog entry is indicating is that when you upload a video to a post (or any other comment area) it will now embed if possible instead of just showing a link, just like an image would.

Anything served over the internet is inherently downloaded to the user.
The download button could be hidden, but a user could just view the page source to get the video's URL in order to download it.

    Great!
If Wechat can integrate with our software by using a ready-built REST API, then sure.

Is there something specific you are looking for?
The navigation bar is available at the bottom of every page already:

I would suggest re-reading this blog entry, specifically the section labeled "New image navigation". We've done just what you requested in the next release (although the comments, ratings and other features are present in the lightbox in addition to the image itself).

    1) We clean up the files no longer used on upgrade automatically.
    2) The option shows up right next to the 'Set credit on all' button, but Matt must have had tagging disabled/been submitting as a user without permission when taking the screenshot.

Just to be clear, we are not shipping or including any specific 'player'. HTML5 supports a native <video> tag, and the browser then generates the controls and plays the video.
webm will be supported in browsers that support webm. https://caniuse.com/#feat=webm
Yes. We were previously using video.js in Gallery, but this has been removed for 4.3 and Gallery's video support will mirror what you see elsewhere throughout the community when videos are uploaded.

AdminCP > System tab -> Files (under Overview heading). Click the 'Image Settings' button at the top right.
I'll take a look at this, thanks.
