I dont think so... What's that header?
I had to change my settings to this in order to avoid issues with logins and cache:

Anyhow I still experience every now and then some Error communicating with origin... Usually close to the weekend. For instance, this morning.

Have you submitted it as compatible with 4.6 for approval?  Generally it takes several days to be reviewed for it to make it through the approval process.  In past experience, it's taken anywhere between 2-10 days for a submitted change to be approved.

Received your PM.  The SPF and DKIM are both good.
I signed up for your forum using a custom domain using iCloud.com and it reported no problems.  It immediately went into the inbox as expected.  I then changed my email address to an Outlook domain which was fine also.  I finally changed my email address to Gmail.  That message went into the spam folder.
In Gmail, if you choose "Show Original", it will give you the raw headers and the status of the SPF/DKIM.  For the email change notification, it reported:
Original Message Message ID <614f7db4.1c69fb81.1a599.5cae@mx.google.com> Created at: Sat, Sep 25, 2021 at 3:51 PM (Delivered after 2 seconds) From: Our Beloved Ducks Forum <forum@YOURDOMAIN.COM> To: MYEMAIL@gmail.com Subject: Please confirm your email address change SPF: PASS with IP 209.85.220.65 Learn more DKIM: 'PASS' with domain YOURDOMAIN.COM Learn more So it's not a SPF/DKIM issue.  You're good on that front.
    Gmail simply reports:
Why is this message in spam? It is similar to messages that were identified as spam in the past. So it's not a technical limitation on your setup/config.  My guess is the domain itself has received spam complaints in the past.  You might want to use Google's Postmaster Tools site...
    https://postmaster.google.com
Since you're using Google Workspace, you can actually reach out to Google for assistance.
    https://support.google.com/a/table/3247295?hl=en-AU
They should be able to help note why their systems are flagging stuff as spam.

Received-Spf: SoftFail (protection.outlook.com: domain of transitioning example.com discourages use of 209.85.216.68 as permitted sender)
Setting a correct spf entry on your dns should definitely improve email deliverability.

If you've configured your IPB to send email via SMTP instead of the default PHP (meaning from your server), it looks like the SPF record is:
v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all If your server itself is sending mail (via PHP), you would need to do something like:
    v=spf1 ip4:XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX include:_spf.google.com ~all Where XXX is your server's IP address.
If you post the domain name, we can look up the SPF record to see if it's still incorrect.  A good tool to check out might be:
    https://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx
It will let you check your SPF, DKIM, and DMARC settings to see if it's reporting errors.

What is the domain name?  If you’re not comfortable posting it, PM me. I’ll look up the settings.

Check SPF & DKIM records for the domain of your e-mail account. For example, if you are sending e-mail from forum@markround.com, then look at your DNS SPF and DKIM records for markround.com. Make sure they validate.
If you are sending email from forum@gmail.com, you don't control those SPF/DKIM records and I'd highly discourage doing this. Use a proper SMTP server.
Paste the headers from one of these e-mails that are getting flagged as spam and we should have the answer right there.

Trying to understand what the issue is here--are you using a Google Workspace (previously GSuite) to send e-mails from your forum, or an actual consumer @gmail.com account?
This is likely not an IPS issue, but rather one of:
Your SPF/DKIM records are not correct The account you are using to send e-mail from has been flagged enough times by recipients that it is considered by the email providers to be spam

    email delivery is always complicated.
What i do is use https://www.mail-tester.com/ to check my dkim and spf records are OK. you should give a try.
it will give you an idea of what is going wrong.

Not speaking for @Mark Round, but I think what he's really asking for is the same use case for moderation on the activity stream (more globally, moderate content anywhere you can see it).

Mark may be talking from a context he is familiar with: the Wordpress Admin interface, to address the gap that exists in IPS.
The user story is probably something like this:
As a community manager/moderator, I want the ability to see all content in a single view, with the option to filter by forum, etc., submitted within a specified window of time in a single panel so that I can take action to address any issues with a moderation action (edit, delete, hide, move, etc.).
If you could moderate via activity stream (along with a user/group/stream option to toggle a full content instead of an abbreviated view), the solve could be there.

Mark Round reacted to opentype in Line spacing on mac versus windows
Well, no. Technically, the line-spacing stays the same. But your first post has three paragraphs and paragraphs, as a structural unit of the text, get additional spacing.
There is an ACP setting called “Return Key Behavior”, which turns off the use of independent paragraphs, but I strongly suggest not to change that. There is no good reason to make forum posts in a typewriter-kinda-way in 2021. Proper structuring of the text is the best option.
With CSS changes, one can also change the paragraph padding/margins, so the structure stays the same but the additional paragraph spacing is not used anymore.

On this site we use the system font stack, which means Windows/Mac+iOS/Android use different fonts. That can make the resulting content look slightly different across devices.

Thanks for clearing that up.I dont normally write that way I just noticed the spacing seemed inconsistent but it appears that  for the users, "you're doing it wrong!" again.

Mark Round reacted to bfarber in Where is the rss template stored?
"Source" probably comes from the feed itself.
You can shut off "Read full article" by editing the RSS feed in the AdminCP and disabling adding the link (it's a per-feed setting).
  20. Thanks
Mark Round reacted to CoffeeCake in Moderation options on activity stream
Yes please, and search. As a design rule, anywhere you can see content you should be able to moderate it.
Also, for bonus points in entering the 21st century, selecting items across pages (for example, multiple threads across multiple pages of threads), and the option to deselect everything already selected in the present context (you have four posts selected in a 56 page thread, good luck finding them).
Please, please, and thank you please.

How difficult would it be to implement moderation options on activity stream? This would be a useful addition

Is it possible in the acp to have all posted content in a list in chronological order with pagination and moderation options etc similar to the way it is in Wordpress ?
