  1. I agree about the lack of reason for IP to add additional incentives (though I'd gladly avail of it). I was pointing out that the VB licenses I currently own are worth far less today ($0) than they were a month ago. I'd prefer to move to something that will retain the value of the money I spend on it. Can't throw good money after bad, as they say, and the cost of a new license here appears to be a better bet than that of VB currently.
  2. Wasn't aware that was an option. Generous support offering there, and thank you both for replying.
  3. Maybe I wasn't clear. ;) After moving to IP, when a new version comes out, what is the upgrade process for the forum? Upload, visit specific URL, it walks though the steps...or?
  4. That would be terrific, Charles. I'm fairly convinced to move over. What about the upgrade process? About the same as the other guy? Upload files, hit a specific URL, walks through it?
  5. No access to that version (expired), so upgrading isn't a possibility.
  6. Quick questions regarding moving to IPB. 1) The board I wish to move over is running VB 3.7.3. The converter that is mentioned as being available suggest it's only for 3.8 and up. Is there nothing other than the paid upgrade service that will convert that board to IB? 2) Upgrading an installed IB forum. In that other software, you upload the files, and it walks though the upgrades in order. Simple and quick, usually without error. What is the upgrade process for this board software?
  7. And the same for us. I have 4 licenses for VB, and don't plan to continue any of them after this, nor do I need any addons (though I'm also contemplating the gallery for one board). I'm considering IPB (again), but won't be able to buy all 4 at the current pricing. If there was a decent sale for just forum software, I could justify at least two at this point. Any hope of that?
