Maybe on a future release you could add a full width button on the bottom of the box which, when clicked, goes to the clubs section. Maybe the button says, "view all clubs". I have only 2 clubs on my forum index. If the button was there it would motivate users to visit the club section to check out other clubs.

Thanks for the idea. I'm not really sure I want to have two apps working at the same time. Going down that road could be an issue in the future and I wouldn't want something going wrong when it deals with people getting paid for their points. I believe I'm just going to buy your app because it has way more features than MJ is every going to add. I'm also a pro with Automation Rules and you have that integration. I might just make the cashout requirements a higher points total so that there are fewer cashouts and more time for the users to spend the points in the members shop. Maybe you'd want to make the cashout a separate plugin? But I understand if you don't want to copy MJs stuff.

Fair enough it's your app. His app is missing a lot. I've wrote in his thread about it. He's a solid developer but I think he wants to keep it a basic points system, as per the name. I don't think cashing out points is some kind of revolutionary idea, if it was I could see your position on "copying" someone else's unique idea and being fair.

Thanks. That's a lot of steps when I have a lot of members who are cashing out. Would you consider adding it like in Mike John's app? I really need a streamlined approach to cashing out.

Thanks for the reply. Basic points (by Mike John) has it and member can redeem point for account credit and then that account credit (per admin approval or not) can be withdrawn. I was mistaken to say it was withdrawn directly to paypal. Would be be possible to have the ability to allow member to cash their points out for account credit and then let commerce take care of the rest? (see below) The phone number in the screenshot below is part of the custom fields he has for cashouts, incase there are other fields the admin wants. My members would love to have the option of making real money.

Is there an ability for users to convert their points to cash and cashout via the withdraw system or manually? I really need something where my users can sell their point they own, convert them (500 points to 1 USD) and use the withdraw system to get paid via paypal or manually. I doesn't appear that your Members Shop has this.

One thing I noticed after reading this thread and looking at the screenshots, which is a little scary, if you're awarding points and allowing people to cashout for real money, there is nowhere (besides the widget) to see how much people have. Someone could be banking points and you'd never know it unless the person was in the top 5 in the widget. If you're paying out 1000 points per 1 USD and there are 100M points outstanding on the site, you'd owe a lot of money (if you were being legit and didn't just blank out the points). Yes, you can control the amount people are allowed to withdraw, but still, if someone have a ton of points, their going to want their money eventually. You can't just delete their points and say sorry. While this points system is fun for the site if something not very serious is your goal, if you're seriously running something where you're rewarding members cash (like an affiliate site or some kind of money site) not having a reference of how many point are outstanding, would be a huge issue. While the cash out option is great and only available for this points system, not being able to see a stats page could be dangerous.

I'm trying to figure out which points system to purchase. I would like to get yours because it has the cashout ability, but it doesn't have the Automation Rules integration, which would allow me to do whatever I wanted to do. I looked at Kevin's intergration docs, and it's quite simple as you only need to add 2 actions for the most basic functionality: Give point and Remove points. https://ipsguru.net/documentation/rules/developers_8/extensions Just look at the bottom of the page for Adding Actions. It's pretty simple and straight forward. You don't really need to add any conditions or events. The other points system Member's Shop only has action integration (give and remove points). I need to purchase a points system soon, so it would be great if you could let me know if adding this is something you'd be interested in doing. Thanks!

Just so that people know. If links are being moderated, the anchor link button will not appear in the editor toolbar, no matter what the permission settings are. Below is the support response from Lindy.

Not sure if the 522 error I listed above was part of an attack on the VPS provider I was using. Shortly after the issue, all the VPSs went down because the provider suffered an attack. So, that might have been the reason the server went offline and not your plugin. I'm trying to figure out why the anchor link button isn't showing up on the editor toolbar for users who aren't in an elevated group. I check all the settings and couldn't find anything that would prohibit that anchor link button from showing up - with the exception of the Theme > Editor > Toolbars > Link permissions which I have set to Everyone.

@Adriano Faria Had a issue with this plugin I believe. A member reported that the anchor link wasn't showing up in the editor toolbar so they couldn't set a link for their text. I logged into the users account to check and the anchor link wasn't showing up on their editor toolbar. It was showing for the admin group and other mod groups I setup. I first looked at the editor toolbar setting and made sure that the anchor link permissions were set correctly, they were, everyone had access to the anchor link button. I then went into Posting > Links and clicked "If a link is posted" from Moderate to Allow and clicked Save. Once I clicked save page kept loading until I get a cloudflare 522 error. My server remained offline for several minutes. I couldn't even login via SSH. After a few minutes, I was able to log back into my ACP. When I checked the setting in Posting > Links, the settings remained the same as if I never switched the link moderate off. I then went into Plugins and Disabled Enhanced Links Moderation. Went back into Posting > Links and clicked "If a link is posted" from Moderate to Allow and clicked Save. It took the save without any delay in processing. Not sure what is happening.

I guess there is no news. It's so hard to get a reply from people who own points apps. Kevin Carwile pulled his app after there was a bug detected which was posted on his forum. Can't get a reply from Mike John - I hear you on family issues but you're replying in other threads. Looks like TheJackal84 hasn't replied in his Members Shop thread since Sept 21. Not saying people don't have issues in life and our busy, but geez the points apps... not doing so well.

I would like to purchase this but not until the issues have been solved. Any news on an update @Mike John ? Last post was over a month ago.

@InvisionHQ it would be awesome if you combined your Improved Clubs plugin with this and charged more. Having the features of your block manager for the clubs, plus this plugin would be great. Are you still supporting Improved Clubs? The last release was for 4.3 and the support link is dead. I was thinking about purchasing it, but there is no support thread that I can look at to see if people were having issues.
