kar3n2 reacted to opentype for a file, Pages SuperTopics
Pages SuperTopics is a set of Pages block templates to show topic and post feeds from the forums app in the popular SuperGrid layout, previously only available for Pages databases. The SuperTopics templates pull the first image attachment from each post/topic and show these images beautifully along with the post title. Perfect for forums where posts usually contain images or where you want to highlight certain topics.
IPS 4.3 or 4.4 in their most recent version with both the Pages and Forums application. The Forum app is where the content is taken from and Pages is needed to create the custom blocks using the SuperTopics templates. (Note: This does not affect the regular post/topics widget provided with the forums app. You need to create new blocks using Pages.) Which templates are included:
A topic feed template, which pulls the first full-size attachment image from the entire topic. A post feed template, which shows the first full-size attachment from the post, if there is one. Detailed Feature Description and Notes:
The templates are fully responsive and the blocks can be used both in horizontal (3 rows if screen size permits) and vertical widget containers. The templates come with several options you can easily adjust through the included settings plugin. Settings apply to all SuperTopics blocks if you have more than one. Show or hide post preview for post feeds Image aspect ratio Show or hide user avatars Avatar alignment Show or hide author and post time Author/post time alignment Title alignment Show block title Use 4.2. boxed style Use fallback image, when the post/topic doesn’t contain attachments

Pages SuperGrid is a set of Pages templates and a complete solution to make your Pages databases (with articles, directories and so on) appealing and engaging.
SuperGrid is one of the most popular files in the Applications & Plugins category on the IPS Marketplace and used on hundreds of websites.
IPS 4.3 or 4.4 in their most recent version with the Pages application A pages databases that uses the stock Record Image field and has images with a sufficient resolution uploaded through that field.
(Technically, the templates also work without images, but it’s an image-centered design and works best when most or all records have images.) Which templates are included:
A beautiful grid-based Front Page template with two records featured at the top — for when your database is set to article mode. A beautiful grid-based Listing template replacing the dull forum listing design — for when you open a category or have a database without categories. A unique Record View template with a large header image — for when you open a specific record. A category listing template – in case you use more than one category. Detailed Feature Description and Notes:
Pages SuperGrid is built with the IPS design framework and is therefore fully responsive and compatible to most well-coded/well-designed themes. kar3n2 reacted to Flitterkill for a file, Confirm Email Address
This plugin adds another email address field on the new member registration form for the user to confirm the email address.
On submission, if the two email fields do not match the registration will not process and the form will reappear with a message indicating those two email addresses did not match.
The remaining fields and choices will still retain previously filled in information. The user will just need to correct the email addresses and re-submit.
This validation occurs after a user submits the form, not via jQuery live on the form.
Version 2 is for Invision Community 4.4 and above exclusively. Confirmed working with 4.5
For 4.3.6 and lower please use version 1.

Example Rule Set #56:
Rules also allows you to attach new “custom data” fields to any member, content container, or content type in your system which you can use to create all new features and behaviors on your site that go beyond what was ever imagined with the core IPS suite. For example, you can create a new “integer” data field for members and call it “Prestige”. Then you can create a rule such as:
Congratulations, you’ve just created a brand new type of reputation system. And to take that example a step further, you could write another rule such as:
You have just created a whole new social promotion system within your community! The possibilities of what you can do with rules are only limited by your imagination.

kar3n2 reacted to Ryan H. for a file, Advanced Tags & Prefixes
Do you feel limited by the tag system or prefixes? This application enhances IPS 4's built-in tag and prefix system. It adds custom styling and fine-grained control over prefixes, plus new settings, enhancements, and helpful moderation tools. Prefixes are explicitly created through the Admin CP, and can be chosen from a separate prefix dropdown when creating a topic or other prefix-enabled content. Some of its features: Define all prefixes manually through the Prefix Manager--even for open-tag systems. Show common tags and prefixes across your site with the Tag Cloud Widget. Add, fix, merge, and remove tags and prefixes in bulk through the Tag Manager. Choose a prefix when posting any prefix-enabled content, separate from tags. Control where and how tags and prefixes are displayed. Add custom HTML formatting to your prefixes, allowing colors, images, and much more. Limit prefixes by member group and location. Require a prefix in certain forums*. Add tags and prefixes to topics in bulk with Saved Actions or the Mass-Add tool. Apply a prefix to topics imported from RSS. Set a default prefix and tags for all new topics in a forum*. Override the global tag settings by forum*. This lets you enter custom tags in some forums and not others, or change how many tags are required, or have a prefix option without any tags at all. Display topic prefixes in the page title, last post info, and as filters under each forum's description, if you want. * These added settings should work for all tag-enabled content types. The focus of this application is Forums and topics, but it also supports Calendar events and any other tag-enabled content. That being said, I cannot guarantee compatibility with or support all possible applications and circumstances.
By purchasing, you agree to the software license terms, in addition to any terms imposed by IPS or the IPS Marketplace. Thanks!

kar3n2 reacted to Kevin Carwile for a file, Group Collaboration - FULL
With group collaboration, members of your community are able to form their own groups, ranks, memberships and micro communities within the fold of your whole community.
Any group can collaborate to create, maintain, and manage its own content based on what you allow as the site administrator. Out of the box, you can allow groups to manage their own forums, galleries, calendars, blogs, downloads, databases, and more. You control all the permissions and limits.
Create any number of categories and subcategories for groups to operate in, and set permissions and limits for groups on a per category basis. Move groups in and out of different categories at any time. Customize what groups are called on a per category basis. Set permissions for each category to determine which content types the group can use, how much they can use, what moderation permissions they are allowed within their group, who can view, create, and join groups in the category and more. Group leaders can create their own roles within the group, assign any of the permissions they’ve been allowed to those roles, and assign roles to other group members. Group leaders can set permissions on the content within their group based on the roles that they have created. All permissions for the content type are available. Group leaders can decide how they want to manage memberships to their group. Groups can be set to automatically accept new members, queue members for approval, be invitation only, or closed altogether. You can configure how many members a group can have total on a per category basis. You can configure how many groups an individual member can create or be a member in on a per category basis. You can configure how many groups members can own and be a part of on a sitewide level on a per member group basis. Group members have their own member titles, ranks, and post counts within each group which can be customized by group leaders. You can decide if post counts are added to the whole site post count or kept separate for the group on a per category basis. You can create “group models” in each category which act as a base layout and content structure for new groups. Group models can be used automatically, or you can give new group owners the choice as to which model they want to use. Features Added in 1.1

kar3n2 reacted to Flitterkill for a file, SuperScroll
Awesome page scrolling, custom scrollbars!
SuperScroll is an IPS 4 plugin that changes the default scrolling behavior when browsing IPS 4 webpages. With SuperScroll you can can control the speed and feel of how all IPS webpages move (with easing) and change the look and feel of the browser scrollbar. SuperScroll is based on Nicescroll, a jQuery plugin.
Page Movement: SuperScroll attaches to the entire HTML element and binds to mousewheel, up/down keys, and the spacebar. All IPS webpages will now scroll smoothly with the settings you specify, easing to a stop after the input has ended. Any additional interior elements (such as editor boxes, etc) that have scrollbars will NOT be affected and will behave as usual. You control the speed and the distance!
When using SuperScroll the browser's native scrollbar is replaced with two divs - one used as the background rail, the other for the cursor that travels up and down overtop the rail. These divs collectively float over top of your page content. The screenshot provided shows a few quick examples but it really is up to you how this looks. You can customize nearly everything for both divs!
Such as? Add a fixed background to the rail with a branding/theme element from your community. Maybe cut a sponsorship deal and stick a static ad as the background for the rail. Change the cursor to a circle. Set both the cursor and the rail to transparent - still grabbable but no one will ever see the scrollbars on your pages again! How about an image as the cursor? Animated? Why not!
Page Movement: Distance each wheel notch/key click will move the page in pixels. Speed of that movement.
Entire Scrollbar: Auto fade out on/off, fade out delay time, opacity of the entire scrollbar on full-fade, opacity of the entire scrollbar when fully visible. Z-index number to ensure the scrollbar never gets hidden by other page elements, move the scrollbar from the right side to the left side of the page.
Scrollbar Cursor: Width, Color, Radius (to round the edges or make a completely round cursor), Minimum cursor height, fixed cursor height, top and bottom buffers, CSS borders, right padding to nudge the cursor away from the edge of the page. Transparency with the RGBA toggle. Set an image as the cursor!
Scrollbar Rail: Width, color, full control of CSS background call (including transparency and image).
Single public site and all of your development instances (hosted or localhost). Have another site? Get another under that account please.
Price and renewals:
8 now, 3 for yearly renewals. Honestly though, the renewal fee is mainly to protect me if the plugin needs to get completely rewritten due to IPS changes. As it is now, the thing is pretty much future-proof so you can probably ignore the renewal invoices when they arrive. Unless you want to shower me with beer money. Please do!
Check out the support topic for more information. Short version is rail positioning, ease speed, better CSS handling, bumper effect, and drag/drop background image handling. For some of this it's complicated...
Hit the support topic for some pointers on some standard settings as well!
Note: Works with all 4x series. Probably needs some better css targeting to exception out anything other than the browser scrollbar.
