    I have quite a few clients that use this app. I might be interested in taking it over, but I need more details about v5 first. Until I take a look at its code, I'm not sure.

    A few updates:
    FYI to those lurking, the above stuff was resolved a long time ago via PMs.
    Lots of moving parts behind the scenes these days and Invision Community 5 exists in a quasi-state of both being months and months away but also coming on a LOT faster than you realize. Many of my big things will require new purchases for a variety of reasons including but not exclusive to:
    a somewhat new codebase what may or may not be possible to do in the new version and other probably secret things  If you are punching renewals on this, thank you as always, but I'd request you actually hold off on those for now - ditto for any other apps/plugins of mine you have until the sun rises on a few things. You'll have clarity soon enough. Things change, the world ever turns, and all that, but I'm not going anywhere.

    Ha ha. Valid invoices. I develop and sell software myself, so I don't play games with "not paying until I need an update."
    Oh bite me. The cost is $10 plus $10 every three months. That's subscription pricing, and I understand it's to fund future development. If you don't pay until you "need" an upgrade, I would suggest that you're abusing the system and using it in a way that's not intended.
    Do you only pay your IPS subscription price when it's got a major upgrade, or do you pay every six months (or whenever)?

    Suspicious Activity Alert Publicly accessible Google API key for Google Cloud Platform project PLT Login (id: plt-login) Dear Customer,
    We have detected a publicly accessible Google API key associated with the following Google Cloud Platform project:
    Project PLT Login (id: plt-login) with API key AIzaSyCgZQExEPcYFIUzqph8Ah_9LGNVv4mD1o0
    The key was found at the following URL: https://www.pathlabtalk.com/forum/index.php?/topic/4398-cloudy-ffp/
    We believe that you or your organization may have inadvertently published the affected API key in public sources or on public websites (for example, credentials mistakenly uploaded to a service such as GitHub.)
    Please note that as the project/account owner, you are responsible for securing your keys. Therefore, we recommend that you take the following steps to remedy this situation:
    If this key is intended to be public (or if a publicly accessible key isn’t preventable): Log in to the Google Cloud Console and review the API and billing activity on your account, ensuring the usage is in line with what you expected. Add API key restrictions to your API key, if applicable. If this key was NOT meant to be public: Regenerate the compromised API key: Search for Credentials in the cloud console platform, Edit the leaked key, and use the Regenerate Key button to rotate the key. For more details, review the instructions on handling compromised GCP credentials. Take immediate steps to ensure that your API key(s) are not embedded in public source code systems, stored in download directories, or unintentionally shared in other ways. Add API key restrictions to your API key, if applicable. The security of your Google Cloud Platform account(s) is important to us.
    GO TO MY CONSOLE Sincerely, Google Cloud Platform Trust & Safety

    It was the delayed task. I changed it to the immediate one. I might just leave it set that way.
    I'll let you know when the next user registers.

    Nope, not repeated, but this is the only new sign-up in the last month or so. My site is a paid membership site ($59 signup), so we don't get new members often, but it needs to fire when it does. I still have the "M" change in there from "H" so it fires five minutes later. I did change it to "immediately" for the next registration, to see if that works, but I don't know when that next registration will be.
    Members pay via PayPal, if that tells you anything. That gets them access to a private forum where I auto-create (ideally) a topic for them (they can only see topics they started), and send a DM. Neither occurred this last time.
    I'd give you more details if I could.

    Good thing it selects the members based on their last activity status then 🙂
    You can also run this query to have it run hourly (Don't do this with a 1000 limit tho!)
    UPDATE `core_tasks` SET `frequency` = 'P0Y0M0DT1H0M0S' WHERE `app`='communitymap' AND `key`='locationSync';

    Ah, I had searched for "member" and "commu" and "map" and didn't see it. For others, the task is called "locationSync". I'll run it a few times now.

    I see that happening now. 100 or so yesterday, 100 or so today. Thanks for the heads up.

    I have settled on a new API provider to replace MapQuest - Geoapify.
    Geoapify have a free tier with far more requests per day than MapQuest had. I have been in contact with them today, and there are no limitations to how we use the API, as long as you stay under their daily limit. That limit is 3000 requests per day, which should be more than enough for most of you. This is not a hard limit, but should you constantly go over the quota they will send you an email asking you to upgrade your account.
    See more about that here: https://www.geoapify.com/pricing

    I have converted all API calls over to Geoapify today. Just needs some more testing before I can give you an update.
    Too bad the marketplace doesn't offer a way to do beta versions, or even have private testers... Can't really do a public beta version either, as the approval time for new versions can be up to a week.

    My cleanup task has seemingly NEVER completed (not lately, anyway):

    It gives this error when run manually:

    Well, okay. I made a backup of the modified file(s), because the patch did modify those files, so I was able to quickly revert to put the fix back in.
    For others, or myself if I goof in the near future…
                if ( \count( $data ) ) became
                if ( is_countable( $data ) AND \count( $data ) ) Thank you. All set now.

    Thanks,
    I can confirm that we fixed this bug in our next maintenance release. ( I have applied the patch to your system to confirm that nothing else is broken) so you should be fine now.
    Please keep in mind that because of these changes, your support tool will show now that some original IPS files were customized!
