If it doesn't work on macOS/iOS/iPadOS, why show the option to enable push notifications at all?
This is a lie:
Why not detect the browser or OS, and not show the option (since it's going to fail) on those OSes?
I know Apple's privacy tracking (for which I'm very grateful) obfuscates some data, but you can still detect the OS or handle this more gracefully, no?

Or at least a Guides articles which points to the ACP places. I did indeed felt rather lost when looking for the new features having to first browse the blog posts and then having to guess where the ACP settings might be. “Giphy” in the ACP search? Doesn’t work. New E-Mail banner? Mhhh, under e-mail settings maybe? Nope! And so on …

We hardcoded so you can never change the icon. You must use the heart forever. It is a steadfast requirement. There are no settings to change it. If you try your site will delete.
