A bit tongue in cheek, but lately I believe this is the main driver of IPS roadmap.

- Can't mass message/notify your memberbase, zapier pricing skyrockets after 2k tasks
- Doesn't have the custom data fields that Rules has. 
- It will be at least few years until it can even remotely match the available in Rules trigger/conditions/actions. 

So yeah, it is the next best thing, but it is very far from being able to challenge it. 

Want to jump in here as well. There are A LOT of very VALID reasons to postpone the upgrade - custom themes, 3rd party app/plugins, language translations and so on and so on. Frankly, this:
is insulting. I found the reason - the apps I use are not updated yet, those that are done I have not finished testing, I still need to translate > 100 pages of new language strings and on top of that your brand new releases are typically unstable, so it makes sense to wait at least a few months for everything to settle down. What should I do to resolve it? Duh!

There might be plugins providing this functionality, but it's quite easy to achieve yourself by simply editing your theme.
In your theme, find the file forums > front > forums > topicRow and add the following inside the class attribute on line 50 (the <li> element):
{{if $row->mapped('featured')}}customFeatured{{endif}} Then, edit your custom.css file to set a background color for the new customFeatured class:
.customFeatured { background-color: pink; } This should give all featured topics a nice background color.

I assume it has to do with a question asked during the upgrade. Followers and followed content takes a lot of db space, so the question was whether you want to prune some of the data based on IPS defaults or you want to set the settings yourself. I assume you clicked through to do it the IPS way.
If it is any consolation, the removed followers were probably inactive for very long on your board.

As far as I'm aware AT&P has been abandoned and still has a number of compatibility issues and bugs with 4.4 that were never addressed after being taken over by another developer, so I wouldn't advise even trying to upgrade to 4.5 with it enabled.
You can perform a migration from AT&P to RT on IPS 4.4 and then uninstall AT&P once you confirm everything has been migrated properly. If you'd like me to do this for you, I can do so free of charge as a one-time service, just send me a PM here to set up a time to have that done.

One of the new features I am most excited about is the ability to attach free stock images to the post. It took me a while to find that this is buried deep in "Other Media->Insert a stock photo". There is absolutely no way I can communicate that properly to my members and you know the saying (rephrasing/butchering it probably): "If you need to explain your user interface, you have a bad user interface".
For all years since 4.x is live I never ever looked and used this menu and I believe neither most of my members. Can the options be spread throughout the upload bar instead:

Yeap, it was Commerce related. I had booking.com in one of the descriptions of a premium subscriptions I sell. I removed it from there, the search was fixed after that. Sorry for wasting your time.

When you go in Support page, the redis server data on the right widget is clickable and leads to the page you are looking for.

3 minutes is my caching time if it helps. Maybe try to reduce this from 15 minutes just as a test?
I don't think I changed much from the default redis settings either. 

@sadams101, how big/active is your community? Mine is medium size, but the amount used by redis look really small.

Pretty much, yeah. I also want to invest heavily in Clubs, but find myself underwhelmed by its current status. Thank you for taking the time to summing some of the issues in an organized and structured way, hopefully IPS takes notice. 
And in general, if one of the best selling apps on the marketplace is called "X enhancements", where X is an app you develop...you need to think hard if there is something missing from your offering. 
To me, I hate to be dependent on 3rd party resources, so far it seems that I am either dependent on Group Collaboration or on Clubs Enhancements. 
@Joel R Was the switch from GC to Clubs easy? I think I might try with GC as there is a lite free version afaik. If things goes south with its support (which I frankly expect as Kevin's apps have not seen any recent development lately, barely any bugfixes), then I want to be able to fallback to Clubs.

Does the Google Books integration works only on ISBN? It is not possible to search by title, see suggestions, etc?
Suggestion/Idea: will it be possible to automatically populate user data from goodreads? Basically a way to kickstart the library as asking users to transfer data they already have at another place won't yield the best results. It can be great if they can link and periodically sync their goodreads account. I might be interested in sponsoring this too if it is not extremely involved.

To add books you only type the ISBN.
When viewing a book, it has tabs to display books from same author, from same publisher and also a tab for that uses the book title to search and provide results.
I want to add a search screen on it, where you will search for everything possible in the API but it's only for Google Books API.
And most important that I'm not sure how I missed: the language!!! Next version you will be able to choose the language on ACP then the API will bring data in chosen lang. Current version is "hardcoded" to English.

Missed this. I can add an option to show/hide using cookies. Add new columns on members table is a bit overkill to achieve this.
