So the quiz might have 5 questions, but if you have pool of 500, then users can take the same quiz over and over again without being bored. It would be nice if the default tutorial image can be chosen via setting, maybe even per category setting. If the tutorials are for developers, the default image might be some like this: My community is travel based, so my default tutorial image might be like this: Etc. I think ability to customize the default image will be great.

I am not sure if I understand you, you can browse between the tutorials on the landing page with the tutorial image as a cover, similar to the way ip.downloads works? If thats the case it will be awesome! The tutorial image within the tutorial also looks cool, makes it look like proper news article.

I imagine if this app is integrated you can, for example, create custom user titles based on the ratings they receive. Lets say, if you have received 100 laughs you can have the title to be "i am funny", if you have 10 helpfuls the title can be "most helpful member", etc. Take for example the iAwards application, which is integrated with Rules and can provide automatic awards based on some criteria. You can have the mentioned example to deliver awards instead of user title updates. Another example is group promotions, for example any member with 100 heplful ratings might be moved to custom "Expert" group, etc. Really, the possibility are endless and limited only by creativity.

Great app, on first look there are no issues on my dev forum. Just a couple of suggestions from me. I will use the app as more or less live tracker of members, i.e. they will update the location often when they travel around the world. It would be great if there is a widget or something to show "members closest to you" or "who was in your region in the last 24h". This could create meet ups between members, which will strongly increase the social aspect of any community. Shouldn't be that hard to calculate mathematically knowing the coordinates, I can do the math part, but I am close to zero at developing. My second suggestion is if the location can be updated automatically, by either using GPS or IP address or something like this. It won't be involuntary, just instead of typing the location you can click a button to acquire it from gps. Anyway, regardless if you take this into consideration or not, thumbs up for the great work. Its been a while since I've been inspired about the potential of an app for my community.

Hi Mike, Does this also respects the activity streams? I.e. if you hide forum from homepage, topics won't be visible in activity stream too? If not, maybe a nice suggestion will be to have an activity stream based on homepage created by the app.

I see. But it won't work backwards from 3.4. Could you provide some custom query to update all from pagebreak to page once we upgrade?

Hi Adriano, I just noticed you updated the app on Aug 24. I assume this change is still not available, because in the descirption it is said it comes with 4.2 Is that correct? If I update now I lose the multi page tutorials, but if I update again with 4.2, will they come back? Thanks.

Now some of my members report that they like the vertical list, altough the scroll can be long. I guess it is a matter of taste. If it can be a setting - perfect, if it can't, then probably don't bother.

How about setting to control the way the list is ordered, because with long lists it is kinda inconvenient and the main purpose of the hook is exactly to collapse long list? . Hi Kevin, I have the following use cases. 1. I have a custom profile field, lets call it "points". Is it possible with this app to allow members to transfer points between them. For example you have 20 points, you appreciate someones post and decide to give him 10 points from yours. Is this possible with this app? 2. When a thread in forum is split from another one, I want to automatically post in the original topic the link to the splitted one and pm the link to the author of the top post of the splitted thread. This will be a huge timesaver for me, but I don't know if splitting the thread can be caught as an event. In any case, thanks for the app. I will probably purchase when I find use for it, but it seems powerful enough to let my imagination wild. Apps like these give me hope about ips 4.

Adriano, what happens if we have multi page tutorials in 3.x and update to this version? I am considering switching to 4.0 soon, but really don't want my tutorials messed up.
