No. Even a database without categories has a category listing view. But you can choose to have a frontpage view, which works differently and always has. The way it is now was the stock IPS template functionality when SuperGrid first came out. That’s why it’s still this way. I just based it on what IPS did. If you need the mobile button, you can give me temporary admin access and I add it in for you. But I will not release a new version just for this. The plugin has 300 clients and they would all need to go through the trouble of installing a new version just for this tiny change, which isn’t even a bug.

For the listing view, adding custom fields below the title was added as an option in the latest release. For the display view, you would need to turn off the “badge mode” and pick a different styling like “no formatting” or “Custom”. But as mentioned before: That’s not really a SuperGrid issue. It’s how to use custom fields in Pages so a separate peer-to-peer topic would be better to ask for help. Neither a new 4.x stock database nor SuperGrid come with a teaser field.

It’s based on your database ordering settings, so it’s actually unrelated to SuperDocs. You can pick an order field and direction in your database settings. If the default fields are not enough, you would have to create a custom order field, e.g. a number field, so you can add numbers to each record to order them.

Usually, you are supposed to open a category first, like in the forums. There you will find the button both in desktop and mobile. There is an extra desktop button on the frontpage currently. I will consider how to deal will that in a future release. Maybe I add a mobile button. Maybe I remove the desktop button. Not sure yet. For now this is intentional.

You better tell IPS. This app just provides an interface for easy account deletion. The deletion itself is an IPS feature – and so is how the downloads app handles guest accounts. To verify: try the same by deleting an account in the ACP without this app.

This is not a SuperGrid issue. It’s how you defined your custom field to look like. Please open a new topic in the Peer-to-Peer forums.

SuperDocs is a styling for regular Pages databases. So you need a Pages database, add it to a page and add records. SuperDocs templates are then just assigned to it all and make it more beautiful. ? So, yes, please follow the IPS Guides for setting up Pages databases. If you go through their “Basic Tutorial: Building a recipe section” section, you learn everything you know.

That refers to the plugin, but make sure to follow the update instructions in the PDF. You need to delete every SuperGrid template in the Pages template section, install the new template set and assign the new set from the Database settings. I thought I already did. You need to upgrade to the 4.3 version of SuperGrid. You need to turn off that field for the listing view in the settings for that field.

The grid view requires equal heights. So that will always be forced. (A theoretic alternative is to contain the images in equal frames and leave empty space where necessary, but I won’t do that for stylistic reasons.) So the only alternative for you would be to go towards a more square-shaped aspect ratio, which reduces the effect of a large aspect ratio mismatch between image and frame. (I assume “squeezed” was just the wrong word and you probably meant cut off. Because nothing should be squeezed in any of my templates.)

Well, SuperTopics is just a different styling of forum feeds. It shouldn’t influence block visibility in any way. To test this, just turn off the the SuperTopics template for the block you are already using. if the visibility problem persists, it’s not a SuperTopics problem and you need to open a support ticket with IPS or ask in the peer-to-peer forums here. if the problem goes away and it points to a SuperTopics problem, I probably need temporary admin access to find the source of the problem on your site.

Absolutely! I predict April 9, which is when I actually released it. ? I highly recommend to follow each file you download from the Marketplace to get an email for every update.

As mentioned in the first post I fixed it by uninstalling the app again after the initial failed installation. It always worked the second time around. So there is nothing for me to investigate anymore. I was just telling you in case you want to have a look at the problem and maybe avoid it for other customers.
