Yes. In the SuperGrid Plugin settings you can choose to use thumbnails or the full-size images. (Another and possibly better option might be to increase the thumbnail image size in your Pages database settings. But that will only affect future uploads, not existing articles.)

You would add DukenNL in your case. No URL, no @. Just the handle.
  3. Is there a toggle in the widget settings to control it?

You probably have your page (on which you placed the database) set to “2 columns” and placed the database in one of those. That’s why half of the page is empty. So change the settings of your page to “1 column”. That’s a core feature. I don’t intent to interfere with that.

You can add a fallback image in the SuperGrid settings to appear in the listing views without having to upload it again and again for each article. That’s all I can offer. Picking the record image is a feature of the core IPS software. I cannot change that. You would have to recommend more options to IPS if you want to reuse existing images for example.

Yes, that is intentional. The fallback image is only used for the grid view, where “empty” slots wouldn’t look good. It’s not supposed to show in the display template.

So if you empty the custom.css, the SuperGrid styling starts working? Then its definitely not a SuperGrid problem. Your CSS is probably just malformed.

I wouldn’t know how to help further with that here in the support ticket. Your site isn’t calling the CSS from the plugin. Could be a problem in your theme templates or something like that. You could try to install it again on a new stock theme for your account and see if it works then. That would narrow down the problem or exclude the theme as potential problem.

No. It’s called ADD members, not INVITE. It’s not an invite. Its forcing members into the club. And that’s what you said you don’t want. ☞ The invite is an IPS core function, not related to the plugin. It works just like you want it. ☞

    Already there:

I ask again: Have you installed the settings PLUGIN? You said, you are coming from 1.1 which didn’t have that. Now the CSS in embedded in the plugin and activated automatically on the system level.

The CSS for SuperGrid is missing altogether. Make sure the latest plugin is installed (not just the templates) and that there are no problems in your other CSS files like the custom.css.

I don’t think so. But I only added members from secondary groups.

The ordering comes from the system. I just style it. So whatever feed blocks can do, SuperGrid blocks can do. If you want pinned entries, you would have create a separate block with just pinned entries in it. It’s reserved for the database homepage. It’s not on listings and blocks.

Please check your language string for “cms_byline”. I guess you have customized that, which leads to this result. By the default, it’s … By %s, in <a href='%s'>%s</a>, which would separate the entries through commas.
  16. Not at the moment. Maybe I add that in a future version. The size is also fixed. The intention is that people should focus on the headline, not some big or flashy image. ;-)
  17. Yes. You set up categories to structure your tutorials and each record becomes a “step” of the tutorial category those steps are placed in. If you are just starting out with Pages databases, I would suggest to go through all the Pages steps in the IPS Guides section. The details of setting up and using SuperHelp are all explained in the instruction PDF. Feel free to ask if you still run into specific problems. But it would be way too much to walk you through the whole process of learning Pages and configuring everything in this support topic.
  18. Yes, you are supposed to. That template requires several levels of categories to make sense.

It certainly can. One just sets up a database for the jobs. Categories, filters, fields for maps, dates, links … it’s all there already. If you want, you can also cross-link different databases, e.g. if you want a separate job and company database.

Getting better and better. Good job! I’m looking forward to the turn-forums-into-clubs feature so I can finally get rid of all my “manual clubs” I managed through user groups over the years. Or was that idea dropped? Its not listed anymore.
  21. The Pages app can’t be used in Clubs. So its not possible.

Looks fine. The questions is if and what admin options are available to control this new section. Opinions may vary. All checked by default? All off by default? Certain admin-defined apps on by default? Forced to make selection or not? So many options. ;-)

I see the usefulness of this on my site. People can easily create a club by filling out one form. But if they stop there and don’t instantly look for the link to add apps, they create a club that makes no sense, because you can’t do anything in there. (I am sceptical about adding one of each though, especially since there currently is no delete option for the club owner.) Maybe it should rather work like this: In the club creation form you get checkboxes for each app for your initial setup – so you get a fully working club as soon as it was created. That would streamline the process and avoid confusion among club owners and people joining (potentially empty) clubs. You just check “topics” and a forum is created. Name and description can be changed/added later. And if selecting at least one app is required, the site owner can make sure that all clubs are fully functional instantly.

If you send me a link I can inspect the CSS. A screenshot isn’t enough.
