Did you apply the update of this app that brings 4.4 compatibility? You should check if app's version is 3.2.0 😉

I don't know if you found a temporary fix at this time but for anyone else that may have this problem until a patch is published:
This is due to a constant that doesn't exists anymore in IPS 4.4 :

'HTMLENTITIES' => ENT_DISALLOWED, // @deprecated and will be removed in 4.4 The fix:
Edit the file applications/advancedtagsprefixes/hooks/formatPrefix.php and replace (2 places):
\IPS\HTMLENTITIES by
ENT_DISALLOWED and run the support tools to clear the cache.

Good news, everyone:
@Kevin Carwile will be taking over Advanced Tags & Prefixes going forward, including ongoing support and maintenance. Don't go too hard on him. I can't speak to what he has planned for the future, but if you've already purchased he should make sure you continue to be taken care of. Purchasing has also been reenabled, so if you've been waiting to buy it you can do that now.

FYI to existing customers, I've updated the file listing with the following message:
Author note 2018-10: Support and maintenance will be limited going forward. This app works fine as of IPS 4.3 and may continue to work with new releases in the future, but when it stops working that's probably it. Thanks for your support over the years!
I haven't invested much into the apps in quite some time (as I'm sure some of you realize). My forum has closed and other circumstances are changing, so I don't have much incentive to continue developing them going forward. I intend to leave the apps on the Marketplace as long as IPS lets them. I'll continue answering support questions as I'm able, but maintenance and changes will likely be minimal to nonexistent. Thanks for buying, and I wish you all the best going forward.
(If anyone intends to yell, I'll point you to the license terms I've used since release: "I make no guarantee as to the future functionality or compatibility of this software package." It works today on 4.3, be happy.)

I just tried to manage tags,prefix,... in ACP and it works on 4.2 b4.

Are you on 4.1.19 ? If yes, try to upgrade to 4.1.19.1, it should fix your issue.

"Ryan himself runs 3.4.x" -- referring to Zybez? I don't own that site; I just administrate it. Anyway, we haven't upgraded because there's no budget for the hundreds of hours that would go into recreating all of our custom functionality for 4.x. Not because 4.x is more complex or we're incapable of working with it. I wish we could upgrade; it just doesn't make sense for our situation.
I'm not going to go on arguing the point with you, because frankly I don't care if you purchase again or not. It's there if you want it, and it does what it's supposed to (better, actually, than the 3.x version did). You're free to think what you want. I made my decision, and I stand by it and this application.

I just tried to update this application on my test site and I don't get any error.
Did you try to unzip the archive with 7Zip (if you don't already do it with this one)?
