  1. Or did I miss something that means I cannot change them but I should be able to-  which would seem more likely or they wouldn’t be seen at all (even greyed green)?

    Just not sure.

I’d have added this to my previous comment but post lockdown times seem very short here.

You cannot disable those items, you can only change whether or not you get emails from them with the setting to the right of those.

    – but it's my site.

Shouldn't that be my choice about what notifications I wish to receive on my own site?

Also allow the events to be programmed and seen only by specific user groups. I didn't see the option to schedule an event that will only be visible in the calendar for specific user groups.

    Thanks

Seen only by specific user groups works fine for me through ACP Calendars permissions, but the "Create Event" button should not appear (yet it does) - though it just leads to a "you can't do that" page. It would be more elegant to not have it appear for groups that cannot use it.

This seems to be an issue with the recent cPanel version, any chance you're also using it @PoC2?

I probably am. 🙂 That would explain why 4.7.1 was fine one day and seemingly not the next!

The bug report suggests this change was actually intended for PHP 8.2 but was committed to 8.0/8.1 anyway.

I'm on 8.0 rather than 8.2 so it looks like they've actually done that to the earlier version as well as you suggest.

We're working on a solution. I do not know at this time whether PHP might roll it back in the next release or not so we'll do something to work with either situation.

Thank you. Invision support has always been superb and that means a lot.

Meanwhile I can tick along with just showing one calendar. Not a dealbreaker for me once I figured that out. 😉

    Cheers!

  5. Identical issue, same behaviour. Also running PHP 8, IPS 4.7.1 with all patches (was not happening with 4.7.0). Started this morning.

Note: I can see individual calendars and add entries but not view the main/summary calendar page (/calendar) – that throws up exactly the same errors as described by @Foolboy.

  6. Hello,

After updating to 4.7.0 [and updating to PHP 8] I get a notification in AdminCP about Locked Task: queue (last run: never)

    Quote

One of the routine maintenance tasks which run in the background has failed several times, which may indicate a configuration issue.

When I try to run the task manually I get a blank red banner with just: 1S111/1

Could contain: Text, Logo, Trademark, Symbol

Also, a whole series of errors in the System Logs:

    Quote

    queue_oore    OutOfRangeException (0)
    multiredirect    RuntimeException (0)

Any advice or help much appreciated!

    Thanks.
