Not sure if this is a bug or wanted behavior, but when a user enables Google Authenticator under Account Settings > Security & Privacy, the popup window that shows the QR code cannot be closed. One has to enter a code to finish the process, but if someone decides to abort the setup, there does not seem to be a way to do so (other than manually enter a new URL in order to leave the current page).

Will there be options to enable/disable either of these fontend buttons? Say, I'd like to have the button for account deletion requests, but not for PII data requests. Will there be options to optionally automate account deletion in some way? E.g. 14 days after an account request for deletion has been sent and with no admin reacting in this timeframe, the account will be gone automatically?

Yes, that is correct.

When you are ready, please share how translating Invision Community 5 will work. Since whatever system you will use has a huge impact throughout the lifetime of version 5, I hope you present your ideas as soon as possible (and allow feedback from native speakers of various languages) to make translating Invision Community 5 more flexible than it is now.

This is an old issue regarding the Downloads app: When I create parent categories and some sub categories, files that have been placed in the sub categories will not show up under the parent categories. While this might technically be correct, it makes the parent categories look unwelcoming (when the parent category does not hold any files at all), because whenever a user clicks the parent category, it looks as if there is nothing to be found.
My suggestion is to add an option to download categories in the AdminCP:
When enabled, files from sub categories should also be displayed in the parent category. When disabled, everything should stay as is (current behavior).

Regarding your plugin:
If I understand your description correctly, it only displays files from sub categories, if the parent category holds no files at all? So when there is at least one file, no files from sub categories will be shown? If so, this is why I suggest an option in the AdminCP, because even when there is only a couple of files in the parent category, it might make sense to fill it up with files from the sub categories (option enabled) or you might not want to do that (option disabled). I find the pricing way too steep (15 $ for "just that"), but of course that is just my personal opinion 🙂 – I do not want to discredit your work.

The awards/badges are really a cool feature. Unfortunately by default they are only displayed on the user's profile page and on the popup (username mouseover).
I'd love to see options to make awards/badges more visible throughout the Invision Community Suite. Why not show them in the forum postbit? Or even as little icons behind a username in various other places (blog articles, pages articles, comments in blog/pages/galery... entries etc.)? Maybe not all awards/badges at once, as this could make it very crowded, but with an option in the ACP per award/badge that allowes displaying them.
It is a bit sad that although a user might have earned quite a few awards/badges, they are never really shown to other users.

There is an Invision Community style update scheduled for next year, however exact dates have not yet been confirmed. 😉

I never really understood why one would display 0 replies at all. This goes for any places, even in the forum lists. Why display anything, if nothing is there yet? I doubt that a "0" will motivate anybody to be the first one interacting. I think the look would be much cleaner, if any text that informs about "0 anything" was hidden and then it starts with the number 1, if a first reply/view/vote/download/whatever has happened.

Hello, I have raised this request in the past, I would find very helpful if in ACP I could mass prune/delete validating spammers. It happened to me that the site is attached and I had to deal with manually deleting 200 spammers. Currently I don't see an option to select all records on a page and take a mass action with them. Would more members benefit from this feature?

I would to suggest the ability for badges to be able to be granted more then once, by either updating the last given date or simply allowing them to multiply on the user's profile.

In record feeds or activity stream blocks, the number of comments is always shown. Even if the comments are disabled from the database.
Please respect the setting and do not display the number of replies for the database records where replies are not possible.
