The awards/badges are really a cool feature. Unfortunately by default they are only displayed on the user's profile page and on the popup (username mouseover).
I'd love to see options to make awards/badges more visible throughout the Invision Community Suite. Why not show them in the forum postbit? Or even as little icons behind a username in various other places (blog articles, pages articles, comments in blog/pages/galery... entries etc.)? Maybe not all awards/badges at once, as this could make it very crowded, but with an option in the ACP per award/badge that allowes displaying them.
It is a bit sad that although a user might have earned quite a few awards/badges, they are never really shown to other users.

Now I'm so excited to see what Pages looks like.

Would it perhaps be possible to have an Edit button next to Quote? Instead of having it under the 3 dots ?

As you may know, Invision Community 5 is currently in development, and progress has been great, with many areas starting to come together.
Almost all of the significant code restructuring has been completed, with much progress on the UI and the new theme bearing fruit. A fair few new features are complete, but some aren't quite ready to show, as they need a little love from Ehren.
I wanted to share a little teaser of Invision Community 5; how many new things or changes can you spot?

Please remember that the features, functionality and UI shown in this little teaser are pre-beta, so they are subject to change. The features and functionality shown here aren't all that has been completed; many new features are 'code-complete' but waiting for some UI polish before we're ready to share more. Essentially, what you're seeing is a work in progress.
We don't have a release timeframe in mind yet, but we'll let you know when we do!

...and a setting "every <weekday>" or "every last <weekday> in a month".
For example: Every friday we have a chat event and every time I have to set the announcement active and to the new date. Every last sunday in a month we have a videocall and every time I have to set... and so on.

It would be nice if announcements could be constrained by time to start and stop announcements. Sometimes you have embargoed until a specific time - I hate having to get up super early to make the announcement. 🙏

Is there any way you could share the structure of the database and the theme files so that we can recreate it on our site? 

I think some sample Pages databases with different use cases would be nice for V5.

Some of us (many of us?) are not coders, and in this day of Elementor, Wix, etc, do not wish to become one. I don't want to spend my time learning how coding something like that when I could be using it to write content for my sites.

I would be interested if page application going to be better for creating basic site front end pages and some navigation options. Non tech folks like me, can't make the best use of Page app and information available on our site. I really have whacky landing page which I would like to make better. 

Ban users from topic.
This has been a problem ever since the start. I don't want to ban posters from certain forums, but this is what I've had to do to prevent those posting in certain topics. Even the banning from a forum isn't ideal, I have to create a new member group and place those members in there, but thats what I've done. It would be so much easier to just have a ban from topic option though.

Improvements are nice, but my main concern is maintaining existing projects. I would want to know everything that is not possible anymore and learn if there are alternative ways. This includes hacky solutions like putting a MySQL query in a theme template and things like that. I have lots of customized installations and I don’t want them to be stuck with 4.x.

A new UI, hopefully from @Ehren. Cleaned up code (if needed). More SEO (if needed). Faster rendering time (if needed). Maybe some fun new features like when Ranks were introduced. 

Adding to this.  Banned members for us include spammers which may have left nasty images and such in their profile fields (visible on their profile) without having posted anything on the site.  I’m sure other admins have had this (SEO member names with random profile spam).  Flagging them does not remove this content.  We prefer to clean up those banned members which include lots of spammers for us.  

Just like the prior poster. We’ve been with IPB for 20+ years and tens of millions of posts. Hopefully we have something to add. Right now around 50% of signups are SEO profile spam accounts that never post.  It’s silly and I refuse to fully lock down members their first day or two and drive new folks away with a bad experience.  Credit to our mods who review new accounts daily for this. 

Just keep both options, then! Max number of lines AND max number of chars.

This choice should also pop up when accepting account deletion request (as mentioned in another feedback topic).

Hi,
If we delete a user from its profile in the ACP, we are asked what to do with the user's content (delete/hide/leave).
However, clicking the "X" button in the member's list (see below) performs the "leave" option. This is really annoying! The system could show a popup asking what we want to do with the content the user posted.
Not to mention that there is no way to mass delete spammers/banned users, functionality that has been already asked by several board owners... 😉

(This has already been suggested in the past multiple times. I still hope to see this small enhancement in v4 as it would be a huge timesaver.)

Lately two patches for 4.7.11 have been released. Is there a place where I can find a changelog for these? The general release notes do not seem to cover this.

One thing that I miss a lot in group promotions is a rule that fires when a user is (or is not) a member of a certain club. (Of course clubs have to be activated on the community for this.) This would add much more flexibility to automated promotions. Can you please consider adding this in a future release?

Yes, when a member joins (or leaves) a club, this should trigger a group promotion (or demotion).

So for the Version ID I can just use consecutive numbers? Alright. Thanks for clarification!

Yes, it's more for those that use SSO and have external member management systems. You can have the buttons on the account page link to an external URL.
