  1. No, they are empty like you can see in the initial screenshot.
  2. Is there a way to get rid of these? They do not seem to get auto-deleted.
  3. I'd actually love to have an AdminCP option to allow/deny views for every content item. 🙂
  4. One thing that I miss a lot in group promotions is a rule that fires when a user is (or is not) a member of a certain club. (Of course clubs have to be activated on the community for this.) This would add much more flexibility to automated promotions. Can you please consider adding this in a future release?
  5. A thing that I don't like in (all available) forum/community software is that quotes are just regular text that is being added to answers in the editor and can be edited by the user that quoted the text. Not only does it allow regular users to "change the text of another member" (not really, but you know what I mean...), it also makes no sense that this is possible, because if one replies to quoted text, the idea is to react to that specific text. I guess this is why quoted text does not change, even when the original post has been edited, so there we already see that the original text is being honored. I don't know how to achieve this technically, but in my opinion quoted text should appear as non-editable objects in the editor. The regular user should not be able to edit quotes at all. (There should be a group permission to allow editing quotes for moderation purposes of course.)
  6. Both your site and my own site. And as @Nathan Explosion mentioned correctly, this happens with Authy, too. 👍 (By the way: Is there a place where users can report bugs? Or should those be posted here on the forums?)
  7. Not sure if this is a bug or wanted behavior, but when a user enables Google Authenticator under Account Settings > Security & Privacy, the popup window that shows the QR code cannot be closed. One has to enter a code to finish the process, but if someone decides to abort the setup, there does not seem to be a way to do so (other than manually enter a new URL in order to leave the current page).
  8. When I take a look at my translations (AdminCP > Customization > Languages), I found some empty language strings. For example: I guess that these come from deprecated features (in this case acp log files for hosting errors when hosting was still a thing in the commerce app). Will those be auto-deleted at any time? Is it in any way harmful or "bad" to have these still in place there, or can I just ignore them? Is there a way to manually remove outdated/deprecated language strings?
  9. Those are very nice and much needed features! 👍 Really looking forward to it. Will there be options to enable/disable either of these fontend buttons? Say, I'd like to have the button for account deletion requests, but not for PII data requests. Will there be options to optionally automate account deletion in some way? E.g. 14 days after an account request for deletion has been sent and with no admin reacting in this timeframe, the account will be gone automatically?
  10. Oh, I was lookig for group options to resize the badge and totally forgot about custom CSS. Thanks!
  11. When I look at the group badges that you use here on invisioncommunity.com, they look pretty sharp to me. However when I upload images in the group settings, the badges in the postbit look either way too big (when I use images with a higher width/height in pixels, e.g. 500x200) or very blurry (low width/height in pixels, e.g. 50x20). How can I make my group badges look as sharp as yours?
  12. So this has nothing to do with the "max total size" info that is being displayed in the editor? This is about all the space a user has available for all their files among all apps (forum posts, downloads, calendar entries...)? Then why are 2 infos being given like I posted above under 1.? I thought the 2 options in the group settings work like this: Total maximum storage limits how much space can be used by all attachments within a content item. Maximum storage for each submission limits how much space can be used for each single attachment (although the user might add more than one attachment within a content item, until he reaches the total maximum storage). But that is a wrong assumption, correct? I understand they way these options are supposed to work, but I guess I am irritated by what is being displayed in the editor's upload area. So if I take what you said here, my 4th example should cover this, right? But then I would expect to be informed about "max file size", not the "max total size" (like it is being done, see 4.). I guess this is my example under 3. There I get it that "max total size" makes sense. In a way... (although the user does not know how much space he has left to use until he reaches the total maximum storage).
  13. Thanks for your reply. I am afraid I am too stupid to understand these settings. This is why: 1. No total maximum storage is set, yet there is a max total size. Why? I was expecting that one could upload limitless here, but each file can only have a max file size of 5 MB. 2. Maximum storage for each submission is set to 5000, yet it only displays the max total size. Makes sense (I guess?), because if the total maximum storage is 3000, one can ignore the higher setting for maximum storage for each submission (but regarding this see 4. below). 3. Just the total maximum storage is set, the maximum storage for each submission is unlimited. Just the max total size is being displayed. Makes also sense (same as under 2.). 4. Similar to 2., but this time the maximum storage for each submission is lower than the total maximum storage. Yet it only displays the max total size (but incorrectly? Shouldn't this be 5 MB?) I am under the impression that with these settings here there should be a max total size of 5 MB and a max file size of 3 MB in the editor's upload field. So basically I don't understand why 1. and 4. work and display how they do right now.
  14. This might be a stupid question, but I cannot find the correct setting in the AdminCP to control the Max File Size restriction in the editor's upload field. Where can I adjust this? Also, why is there no space between the current setting (24.41) and the file suffix (MB)? I want it to look like the Max total size info (24.41 MB instead of 24.41MB). Thanks in advance!
  15. Thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for. And it is always the badge that was uploaded within that specific group that is being displayed, correct?
  16. Maybe I am missing some obvious setting in the AdminCP, but what do I have to enable to make these badges ("posts by...") visible in my forums?
  17. When you are ready, please share how translating Invision Community 5 will work. Since whatever system you will use has a huge impact throughout the lifetime of version 5, I hope you present your ideas as soon as possible (and allow feedback from native speakers of various languages) to make translating Invision Community 5 more flexible than it is now.
  18. This is a good thing! I like that you list all old features that have been or will be removed. 👍 How was this tracker created? With the Pages app (obviously), but maybe you can add a little How-to to your documentation? This is sad news. 😞 I love the ticket system, it is well implemented in the software and the features it offers are more than enough for small to medium sized communities to organize all incoming tickets.
  19. My proposition still stands: Since you threw in your plugin here, I just wanted to give you some feedback why it does not suit my needs. It is not neccessary that you specifically adress me. If you post publicly, expect to get feedback. Obviously my topic was good enough for you to mention your plugin. I'll leave it at this as this leads to nothing. I made my suggestion and gave reasons why I think it is a good one.
  20. Different needs result in different opinions, hence my suggestion in this topic. Thanks, I am aware of the alternatives. Since you threw in your plugin here, I just wanted to give you some feedback why it does not suit my needs.
  21. I'd love to see this in the core though. Regarding your plugin: If I understand your description correctly, it only displays files from sub categories, if the parent category holds no files at all? So when there is at least one file, no files from sub categories will be shown? If so, this is why I suggest an option in the AdminCP, because even when there is only a couple of files in the parent category, it might make sense to fill it up with files from the sub categories (option enabled) or you might not want to do that (option disabled). I find the pricing way too steep (15 $ for "just that"), but of course that is just my personal opinion 🙂 – I do not want to discredit your work.
  22. This is an old issue regarding the Downloads app: When I create parent categories and some sub categories, files that have been placed in the sub categories will not show up under the parent categories. While this might technically be correct, it makes the parent categories look unwelcoming (when the parent category does not hold any files at all), because whenever a user clicks the parent category, it looks as if there is nothing to be found. My suggestion is to add an option to download categories in the AdminCP: When enabled, files from sub categories should also be displayed in the parent category. When disabled, everything should stay as is (current behavior).
