  1. If that is true, I suggest that these changes get documented in the release notes as well.
  2. In the AdminCP, when clicking the bell icon in the top right corner and then clicking on notification settings, this is what I find on the list:
  3. When you get notifications regarding pii data requests, the notification is missing the profile photo/avatar. The same goes for the popup bubble at the bottom.
  4. Yes, please! I second that (hence my feedback here and here). Ideally the permissions should be group-based (at the same place where anonymous logins can be allowed/disallowed).
  5. Lately two patches for 4.7.11 have been released. Is there a place where I can find a changelog for these? The general release notes do not seem to cover this.
  6. Click the "Get Support" link in your AdminCP menu. Then multiple boxes with various information show up. Roughly in the middle left, you will find the info about a new patch that is available with a grey "Fix This" button next to it. Click the button and the installation starts.
  7. After a member has downloaded his pii data, this is what is displayed in the AdminCP in the user's profile history: The latest fix has already been applied.
  8. This is the "top left box" (more like middle left) you find under AdminCP > System > Get Support. Just click the Fix This button.
  9. The language key r__api has been updated to 'API' (from 'REST & OAuth'), so I guess r__api_splash needs an update, too ('Can access API page?' instead of 'Can access REST & OAuth page?').
  10. Once the patch has been released, if I download 4.7.11 from the client area again, will the patch be included in the download package too, or do I have to wait until 4.7.12 until the files available from the client area will be updated?
  11. This seems to be a bug or at least unwanted behavior: The new options to request pii data and account deletion do not show up in the frontend, if the usergroup setting the "Can login anonymously?" is set to "Disallowed". Then the menu entry "Security and Privacy" does not show up at all.
  12. Please add an option to optionally automate account deletions in some way. For example 14 days after an account deletion request has been sent and no admin reacted to the request, the account will be deleted automatically.
  13. Please add group-based options to enable/disable pii data requests and account deletion requests so that these frontend options do not neccessarily show up for every user.
  14. When approving a pii data request in the AdminCP, the confirmation "approved" (bubble at the top of the screen) pops up. However there does not seem to exsist a phase for this that can be translated, so I guess it is missing.
  15. There are however some situations where by law you have to inform your users (all of them) about certain occurrences, e.g. data privacy breaches, at least within the EU.
  16. I remember an older answer from Invision Community staff that it was a conscious decision to not allow bulk mails to be sent to everyone, so by default this is not possible. I wish though that it was, too.
  17. Yes, please! (This has already been suggested in the past multiple times. I still hope to see this small enhancement in v4 as it would be a huge timesaver.)
  18. I use this query SELECT * FROM `core_sys_lang_words` WHERE `word_key` LIKE 'r__rss_add' ORDER BY `word_key` ASC to find for example the language string r__rss_add. Then I find the outdated string (which still holds my translation). Then I have to manually remove this entry to a) remove the outdated string and b) be able to actually save the translation* to the correct string (which is the one that is tied to the Core app). Wow, that is a lot of work, because there are tons of outdated language strings by now. 😞 I am afraid there is no easier way to do this? Or is there a reliable MySQL query to display all outdated strings? * By the way: Only now this works! Before, even if I added a translation to r__rss_add via the language tools in the AdminCP, it would not let me save it permanently, which seems to be a bug.
  19. So if I manually remove all empty outdated strings from the corresponding MySQL table, those strings should not be added to the XML file anymore, if I export the language file in the future, right?
  20. To illustrate what I wrote above regarding the language string r__fields_manage, here is a short video showing the issue: language_strings.mp4
  21. Also, another weird behavior I noticed: When I look up for example the language string r__fields_manage (this exists twice, but I am talking about the outdated one tied to the Downloads app, as there is no English text provided anymore), it still holds my translation. When I delete my translation text and save the change, then leave the language section in the AdminCP, and go back there later, the language string again holds my translation. So deleting and saving does not seem to empty it. The same goes for a couple more language strings. Their text cannot be deleted/emptied as it always returns once I reopen the translation.
  22. I currently use version 4.7.10.
  23. Not possible by default, but maybe this is what you are looking for:
