  1. Wow, what a headache for something so simple. But it works! Thanks!
  2. I'm also getting this in my error log. Hard to tell what line 1 is, since there are no linefeeds ;) [13-Mar-2013 08:47:23] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function fcontent_showContent() on a non-object in /www/community/admin/applications_addon/other/featuredcontent/sources/fcontent_show.php on line 1
  3. Has anyone figured out how to embed a hook in a block?
  4. Well it magically started working. All I can figure is I deleted something that was blocking it. Now can anyone tell me the code to embed this in a block? Like a custom php block.
  5. Thanks, also I'd prefer to have more control over items, either editable from the control panel, or ideally just a textarea in the group editor, as a block of text that can be cut and paste, like: {title:"blah", img:"/blah.jpg", url:"http://blah.com"}, {title:"blah", img:"/blah.jpg", url:"http://blah.com"}, {title:"blah", img:"/blah.jpg", url:"http://blah.com"}, You can parse this pretty easily using something like this: preg_match_all('/{title:"(.*)",s*img:"(.*)",s*url:"(.*)"}/',$mystring, $elements, PREG_SET_ORDER);
  6. Every time I try to edit an item, I get this error: Content Encoding Error The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. Also admins should be able to edit all groups, without having to add them to the permissions list one at a time.
  7. Downloads has an "enable RSS feed" option, who knows what this undocumented thing does. IPS should really have feeds for everything.. This app should die more gracefully, ie if it can't connect or parse RSS, it should not crash the whole page. I'm trying to use an RSS feed from YouTube, like this: http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/base/videos?max-results=6&q=donkeys But it's getting lots of bad errors: Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'String could not be parsed as XML' in /www/community/admin/applications_addon/other/featuredcontent/sources/fcontent_show.php:1 Stack trace: #0 /www/community/admin/applications_addon/other/featuredcontent/sources/fcontent_show.php(1): SimpleXMLElement->__construct('<!DOCTYPE html>...') #1
  8. Yeah I imported the hook, configured it, everything LOOKS like it should be working..
  9. First time user, IPB 3.4.3 and it's not showing up for me. Any advice on how to debug?
