  1. Small bug, Mike.

On an existing event, if you edit it and save, and there is no existing event, then it creates the event (I was impressed it did this to be honest). However it posts it under the name of the person who edited, rather than the person who created the event. So if an admin or moderator edits it to create the event topic after install, its showing as that person who edited.

Other than that though, it works really well, and is really well thought out.

  2. A fix has been uploaded to the Marketplace.

Sorry to inform you that you won't have the pleasure of my company in this topic for a while. The fix works perfectly ;) Thankyou for your fast support.

  3. A new version has been uploaded to the Marketplace. It contains a fix for this issue.

    Almost there, but not quite.

The main social stream is working correct. However the widgets still seem to be showing data they shouldn't be :)

  4. Seems to be a problem with permissions. Users who have not got access to a forum and cannot see the topics can still see the topic titles come up in the widget. Quite a big problem if the topic titles are also sensitive such as my staff area.

Have removed for the time being. Its a bigger issue than I thought as its showing the content of these posts in the main feed.

  5. Looks like there may be a problem with images showing where the jpg files have a capital letter extention. So blah.jpg works however blah.JPG doesn't it seems. Feel free to give me a shout on pm if you want to see an example

EDIT: scratch that. I have no idea what the reason is that they are not showing.

  6.  This thing was like an office building with 24 offices in it.  Each office had 24 filing cabinets with three drawers in each.  Each drawer had 100 folders in it and each folder had 100 files in it.  So...  there were 172,800 places to look to find ONE file out of 17 million 280 thousand.  And then they choose to make the office building 5 floors tall!

However each of those 24 offices have a name on the door, each filing cabinet is labelled along with labels on the drawers and folders. Each file has its own title. How would it be easier if we simply put 172,800 files in a single box labelled "Box" and asked you to find the one with the right name on it?

  7. I am getting a small bug: when at the member map, when clicking on the name of a member it gets me this address:

-> for the user bassman-1001, for example:

    http://communityname.com/index.phpuser/65929-bassman-1001/

This is a malformed URL (at least missing a slash) which redirects to the homepage. The right URL should be:

    http://communityname.com/index.php/user/65929-bassman-1001/

    - or -

    http://communityname.com/user/65929-bassman-1001/

I believe this can be easily fixed at the code. Where can i change this? Thank you for your help!

I thought this was already fixed at one point. Could be wrong.

  8. Still a little lost here - mapinfo contains this info currently

So all of that needs to be removed and replaced with the code you advised ?

Is it not the template you should be editing? That looks like a php file (although havent looked either lol)

  9. I don't have a bing api key for IP.Gallery...but I think somehow I got a free bing API key like back in november when this whole deprecation was going on.

Then you would instead enter the key within the mapping section if you do not have gallery

  10. So I just need to install the new version of member map and my bing api key that I have currently will begin working?

Aye, that would pretty much be the idea :)

  11. I've been in the dark for the past 3 months...could I get a update on what I can do to fix my member map?

Not sure what you are "In the dark" regarding as last time I saw you post on here it was to say that the googlemaps api was not working which Stoo is was aware of and wrote a new version using bing mapping to resolve. If you still havent upgraded to this version you will need to do so in order to get your mapping back.

  12. Still getting this message when I click on a member on the map

    Error 404 - Not Found

The document you are looking for may have been removed or re-named. Please contact the web site owner for further assistance.

Would check you have all the files uploaded m8

  13. Ip.Board permission checker was reporting his CSS was writable, but it wasn't.

Now that just left me more confused lmfao I was sure I saw the right file earlier lmao..... Ah well
